cabron means bastard or cuckold....and a cuckold is someone getting cheated on while everyone knows it except that person

In spanish thephrase Ay ca***n is used to show surprise to an issue, specially when you don't expect the outcome. The word ca***n is a bad word. Also, as it happens a lot with the spanish language, you can call anyone a "ca***n" but will depend of the context and the inflection you use in order to be offensive or not.

Probably not nowadays since Latino/Spanish men, mostly educated ones, will divorce, separate, or break up if their women cheat and get pregnant by their manstress.
