Perhaps what we're lacking here is a bit of historical perspective. It is merely coincidence that much of the Muslim world was colonized and exploited within the last century? I've heard of comebacks but the rebound you're expecting takes a miracle.
"where islam is in the majority human abuses occurs."
well, in the world at large American culture and economic dominance seems to be the majority, yet I see tons of human abuses. Many Muslims work in the sweatshops that make the clothing on your back.
This country spends billions of dollars on its defense budget, more than the other developed countries of the world COMBINED, yet it gives little, if any, monetary and humanitarian attention to the plague of AIDS in Africa which has killed millions upon millions of people, women and children form a large part of that.
Where is the unjustice? Muslims have crappy leaders, but at least they oppress their own people, they dont travel overseas to oppress others and then say things like that idiot Hilary Clinton who makes a case for withdrawal on the backs of ordinary Iraqis by saying, If THOSE PEOPLE (Iraqis) dont want freedom, dont appreciate what we did, then screw them!
I paraphrase, but she actually speaks about Iraqis like that: "THOSE people."

who abuses the muslim, who is killing the muslims, who is putting dectatorialshin in our countries but the american government.
Tell your government to stop destroying in our countries then there wont be any problems. All the problem is from America and Isreal.
We are not here to defend Islam, we are here to invite others for Islam. Islam is not for particular region or people, its for the whole world.

The world all over has prospered wherever there is freedom, openness, civility. That's why Christian Europe and US and other countries progressed or are progressing.
As for Islam, it is a mixture of politics and religion. Read their book for this. I am not making up this.
None of the other religions have this deadly mixture.
