I just asked a question where I was looking for interesting answers from both sides of the fence and instead all I got was a bunch of atheists basically telling me what a dumb blond I am and how I should be shunned because I am a newbie to Yahoo Answers. Geez.... thankfully you're not all like that...

So I'm in summer school taking a math class to catch up from when I was sick and in my class is this really cute guy.. nothing special but cute... anyways he's sitting at this table with 5 really really pretty girls (clue one that he is gay... gay guys hangout with really hot girls). Anyways he's sitting there laughing with them and we sorda but not really glanced at eachother a few times... he might of caught me looking at him... so math class begin and I realize during it he starts really sorda flirting with this girl and I was like oh crap... great he's straight... but then I thought about it and I flirt like that with my friends that are girls too, so maybes theres hope... anyways he really seems like my type (lookwise, and from what his personality gave off... he isnt flaming or anything... like I doubt he lies rainbows and stuff which is a plus) any pointers figuring it out... or start talking to him? Think he's gay?

All you have to do is search and you'll find simularities.

Thats why he was crucified cause He wouldn't fall to temptation. And before he could get word out that people are being blinded.

This is a serious question, coming from a strong Christian. I've seen many of the questions on here, and the answers. Everyone is attacking each other. It especially disappoints me when I see Christians attacking athiests. You're sure giving them a reason to want to be part of our religion, aren't you? God called us to spread His Word, but He also called us to respect people with different beliefs and religions than ours. It upsets me to see that many Christians aren't doing this. You're giving Christians a terrible reputation. Not all Christians are like that, but people, especially athiests, don't get the chance to see that if all you do is attack them. Why would they want to be a part of that? Any answers or opposing views are appreciated.

The FDA says you should throw out Chinese topaste becuase it could be contaminate with toxic chemicals. The Chineses are offended by our safety standard.
In other news, the Mexicans are offended by our border, also a safety issue.
Q: Do you think China will use the race card like some Mexicans do to protest this safety standard?

Given the current state of the country/world:
Abuse of executive privilege i.e illegal wiretapping
Humanitarian abuses i.e. Guantanamo Bay
Lying to start a war i.e. WMD in Iraq
The deaths of 10's of thousands of innocent civilians (MURDER)
Keeping our military in a civil war in Iraq (this is not the correct use of the military)
I could just keep going......WHY did you vote for him/support him? Does he seem very Christian to you after what you've seen? I just don't understand some of the lingering support....Do you regret voting for him? Thoughts? I know that others voted as well but I am perplexed as to why you would vote for a war monger......

It's SOOO difficult to understand and accept when a child is killed or dies from a disease. How can I believe that God would have this in His plan? The pain is unbearable and it's difficult to maintain enough faith to survive this. Why do horrible things happen to good people? Why was a 3-year-old taken when so many BAD people continue to thrive and hurt others? I'm having trouble figuring this out.

Did they somehow forget that their people were not originators of this land either and that they also arrived by boat? did they forget that one may assume them to be thieves for stealing the natives land. or that some may consider white people to be conceited. I really don't get it? Right next to the American flag and a few other nation flags. I was really upset, not because of what the flag stands for so much as it's up there for no real reason. I'm Norwegian, where's my flag?(jk)

I think if a college is going to fly a flag it should be for the country it's in. Not to make a group of people happy.

Ok, look at it this way. If you AREN'T a Christian, and Christianity turned out to be right, then as an atheist, you're gonna be totally screwed when you die, so I can understand that from a Christian perspective there is a need to educate people on what they believe about the afterlife. However, from an atheist point of view, it isn't going to hurt you to believe in something rather than nothing, so why bother trying to make people agree with you?
