The bible specifically notes that homosexuals had become Christians in the first century (CE).
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Do not be misled. Neither ...men who lie with men, ...will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous
A new Christian who once felt defined by his sexual inclinations now becomes defined by his intention to serve God and Christ. There is no need to define himself by sexuality again (by 'becoming heterosexual' for example), but he does need to maintain chastity in deed, speech, and thought. While 'thoughts' are between a person and his Creator, the Christian congregation has a responsibility to protect the congregation from ungodly deeds and speech.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not prudes, and well-understand that sexual desire is inherent in being human. Interestingly, Jesus words at Matthew 5:28 would have applied to any combination of genders.
(Matthew 5:28) Everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in [the] heart.
As Jesus implied, a person does well to limit his visual temptations, and to resolve not to fantasize about improper behavior. Further, while Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the bible to teach that masturbation is a serious sin, they do believe that self-stimulation goes contrary to the best interests of a person hoping to remain chaste.
(Colossians 3:5) Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite
Similarly, it may be wise to avoid association with those who insist on discussing topics related to sex and sexuality. Of course, this includes association via suggestive programs on television, films, books, magazines, and the internet.
(Ephesians 5:3) Let fornication and uncleanness of every sort or greediness not even be mentioned among you, just as it befits holy people
(1 Corinthians 15:33-34) Bad associations spoil useful habits. Wake up to soberness in a righteous way
Never forget that Jehovah God is interested in the well-being of his servants. Whether a Christian feels inclined toward heterosexual fornication or homosexual fornication, he can expect that God and Christ will give him the strength to overcome these sinful tendencies.
(Psalm 51:10) Create in me even a pure heart, O God, And put within me a new spirit, a steadfast one.

Please visit your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. My dad is an elder and I know that if you wanted to discuss being a member they would have an open and frank discussion with you. You will not be judged. The elder will show you what the Bible says and the decision is up to you. If you still believe in Jehovah with all your heart then you will make the right decision and you know Jehovah will always help you.

If you have been studying the Bible then you know that Homosexual activities are wrong. We all have sinful inclinations, and none of us live without making mistakes or slipping. I've known people with a variety of problems and hazardous leanings. Just as someone might want to engage in Pagan celebrations or may have a desire to cheat on a mate, the issue is not feeling the pull (though it is good to try to limit things which strengthen this pull) but resisting the pull.
As you should well know, the Elders are there to help you. As humans we all have our own reactions to things we hear. But I am sure he will strive to not let any imidiate feelings one way or another get in the way of comforting you and helping you in your effort to follow the Bible.

The Watchtower Society's official stance on homosexuality is that it is "an abomination." While there may be elders who will discuss this with you, most will probably tell you that you must never act on your thoughts and feelings but instead focus on prayer as a way to overcome your homosexuality. I have heard of elders who have advised finding "a nice Witness girl" to marry in order to conquer any "sinful" thoughts.
As a former JW, I wish you the best. I truly hope you find peace on your life path.
