Behold, the banana as God "designed it for human consumption" (before it was artificially selected by humans taking advantage of so-called "genetic variation" to be huge and seedless)

Here's another. It's God's corn that he "designed just for us." His is on the LEFT - pay NO attention to the one on the right that was modified by humans, again making use of so-called genetic variation.

Why have humans since the agricultural revolution tried to use evil evolutionary ideas to "improve" the foods that He made for us?

i understand that you will explain this verse as because Jesus was carrying so many sins then God coludn't look at him.

what's your sources that prove this twisting explanation? and why chatholics insist that Jesus and God are equal? didn't Jesus clearly called his God in heaven to help him out? isn't this verse very clear ?

is there a sign of lacking democracy ? instead to educate good people and good citizens, they rather want to gang up and establish a form of power over other persons. is this too dangerous for our democracy?
As part of science, we request to justify, and test many discoveries so that these can be applied in daily using. god is nowhere or under where when these discoveries is invented? why human must go a long time to mordern time now, and no bishop or church authority can shorten this history? This history of human is the proof for Darwin evolution theory, but why the church want to refuse it???
Evolution must be totally different with "rejection", because misunderstanding will cause you like a new next nazis. Who want to explain?

Generally, these people are friendly, but they always ask what religion I am and when they find out I'm (gasp!) Catholic, they want to save me from myself. I find this very rude and disrespectful since I was taught never to ridicule others' religions. Also, my kids always come to the door to see what's up and I just refuse to argue religion in front of them. I don't think religion should be "argued" at all. While I defend people's right to preach, by all means, I wish there was a way to tell people that while I respect their beliefs, I simply don't agree and would rather not get into a 20-minute argument over it. If you were at my door, what would you find acceptable for me to say? I am not the type of person to just say, "go away - I'm not interested" but that's kind of what I feel after I bend over backwards trying not to be rude and the person won't go away.

2 of India"s claasical languages
we have often came up with debate which is older and such, nevertheless both langauges are asset to the Indian soil.
These are 2 languages which gave rise to other Indian languages spoken now.
Sanskrit is hardly Spoken, at times it is also considered a dead language, but still lives in the rythm of the Vedas,
Tamil is still living,
-But what importance is India giving to these 2 languages in order to hold up it"s rich history
-Is there anything done or is it jus like a water flowing freely finding it"s way

ANY other path. Or does every one of you think that Christianity is THE ONLY WAY, PERIOD, END OF TOPIC?

If there is one, please tell me what it is and why you believe it is an acceptable and good and "won't send you to hell" spiritual path.

I am going off to college in a few months and I am going to need to buy some things... sheets, towels, some clothes, personal care items, and so on.

I do not really have much money so I want to buy the items at some local thrift stores (St. Vincent de Paul's, Volunteers of America, Goodwill, et cetera). I have gotten good clothes and shoes there in the past, and I think it is more reasonable to buy good used things than spend a lot on brand new things.

But my friends say that I should not buy things there because that would be unfair to people who really don't have money. They say that I should buy brand new things, and if I'm actually worried about money instead of being really cheap, then I should make my parents buy the stuff.

Is it really stealing for the poor or something? I don't want to hurt poor people, and I know that it's not just poor people that shop there... I've seen a lot of people with varying degrees of money there.

So, it is wrong? Or can I shop there?

The person who has a sincere intention is the one who has a sound heart; because a sound heart, free from thoughts about forbidden things, comes from making your intention purely for Allah in all matters.

The day on which neither property will avail, nor sons, except him who comes to Allah with a heart free [from evil]. (26:88-9)

The Holy Prophet said, 'The intention of the believer is better than his action,' and also, 'Actions are by intentions, and every man will obtain what he had intended.' The slave of Allah must therefore have sincere intention in every moment of action and stillness because then he will not be heedless. Those who are heedless have been censured by Allah:

They are nothing but as cattle; nay, they are straying farther off from the path. (25:44)

These are the heedless ones. (7:179)

Intention appears from the heart, according to the purity of knowledge. It varies as belief varies, at different moments in its strength and weakness. The selfishness and passion of those with sincere intention is subjugated to the power of the glorification of Allah and modesty before Him. He is by his nature, his appetites and his own desires, in a state of discomfort, and yet people find ease at his hand.

send them to an eternity of burning fire?

Even if they mocked you openly, and did everything you said not to, would you still be like "Yeah, I love him, but he doesn't love me, so it's fire time sucker!"

Do you see how this logic escapes me?

Mine is 2Nephi:32: 2-5 and 8-9

2-5: Because I want to have tongue of angels too, it makes me feel very peaceful and because I believe that the holly spirit can reflect in the way you speak to others.

8-9: Because it is true that Satan tries to tell us that we should not pray because he wants bad for us and God wants us to pray because that's the way we have to communicate and get closer to him ^_^
