How would you explain miracles such as healing from cancer or another terminal diseases that doctors and tests said there was no chance of you ever recovering, but they did live way more than expected or the blind being healed? (that has happened) If you don't really believe in God or a higher power. Or any other miracles that you can think of.

PS please don't make rude comments towards others or put downs of religions for example: Christians are ignorant. Please answer seriously because I would like to know because that is why I am asking this question which is to understand more of what other think so I can lose some ignorance today.....thanks to whoever answers thoughtfully in advance

It seems god and intelligent design don't need to be proven. As long as other theories are disproven, god must be the answer. I can't count how many times I've heard people give their arguments against evolution and then, automatically assume intelligent design is correct with no evidence whatsoever backing up that claim. So why does every theory need evidence except for religious theories?

Linguistically, as most other phobias are actual fears, not intolerance, why do we accept the excuse of someone being homophobic, when they are just hateful and unwilling to accept?

Is more abortion needed? Look at the facts. One, the world population is overpopulated. Two, crime rates are at an all time high. Third, there are just too many babies running around, and lots of mothers are looking for assistance that you will end up paying for. Do you agree? I'm sure this will stir up the right winged side of yahoo.

I have several reasons for not attending church, I'm not saying church is bad for you but I believe that it has lost its purpose in life. The interpatations, the politics, the judgments weigh heavily and bring bad vibes up and my own opinions towards them really turn me against church. Is there anyone out there that feels like this?

I have read about the theif on the cross with Jesus. Jesus said, " This day, you will be with me in paradise". But then, in Revelation, the graves open and those who are saved are resurrected.

I have noticed that everything needs a process to come about.
Cars tend to get more advanced as our technological comprehension increases.
I walk to the market through a process of energy exertion.
I am able to paint masterpieces with a process of enveloping thoughts.
Clouds form with an addition of water vapor, known as the process of evaporation.
Since everything seems to work in a process in my daily life, as well in all the universe, what was the process that brought life about if they (as in those who don't believe) eliminate the theory of evolution?

That when Jesus returns to establish His heavenly kingdom on the New Earth that non believers who have rejected Him will be cast to the Lake of Fire. Why do you assume you will be left here on this earth? When this earth will also be cast away and that you can just carry on the way you have been? Judgement day will affect us all.

St. Ignatius of Antioch (35-107 A.D.), an Apostolic Father of the Church, and the Bishop of Antioch, wrote the following letter as he was being taken in chains to Rome to be martyred. It is believed that in this letter, the words Catholic Church, were used for the first time.

With all due respect to my Mormon friends out there I don't understand how a single person can remain totally celibate. Masters Bating is the most natural of urges and you lean to do this as a baby.

With that said, I'll be that most Mormons that say that they remain totally celibate do actually do this but say they don't just to appear to be some kind of super human being. I don't know anyone that would be willing to give this up for anything including a religion.

Do they take hormones to suppress sexual feelings? This just doesn't seem possible. Oh, I didn't want to actually use the word but it is a medical term so I think it's ok:)
