I must agree. The Bible says that "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34). The Bible has much to say about what God thinks of homosexuality. I know many of the people who read this probably do not belive the Bible is true, but you don't even need to read the Bible to see that homosexuality is not right. Although one purpose of sex is to share an intimite moment with the one you love, the main purpose of sex is to reproduce. If homosexuality were right or normal, men would be having children with other men and women would have children with other women.
Also, if one looks at history, many of the great nations of the past which have fallen, such as Rome and Greece, were rampant with sin, homosexuality being one of the more prominent sins.
It is dissappointing to me how homosexuality has gained so much popularity in the United States. It is almost like a fad; like it is the "in" thing to be gay or promote it. More and more prominent web sites and media are promoting it rather than just reporting it. I have been using yahoo for many years and am rather dissappointed that yahoo has chosen to join the crowd in promoting homosexuality.
I only hope and pray that God continues to have patience with our great nation and that His truth will change our hearts so that we will not continue down the same path of destruction that many great nations of the past have traveled.
God Bless

Sugar you want "wickedness"? Wander into your local inner city and take a look around at the children being sold drugs, the families being torn apart by poverty, the kids slipping through the cracks in the education system, and the violence that permeates our country in it's rawest form. Go talk to a homeless person about what's brought them so low, visit a mental institution and ask a "patient", aka inmate, about their life inside those horrible walls, speak with a teenager who's seen so much pain and hatred in the real world that don't even care about video violence anymore. And then think about what you've done in the last month to try to alleviate some of the pain and heartbreak in the world...I'll bet you come back with a resounding "nothing". And that, my dear, is the true "wickedness" that is destroying our nation. Instead of spreading love and caring and trying to help those around us...we simply scream our hatred of all those who are different from us from the tops of our lungs. Instead of concentrating on the real issues that are plaguing society instead we obsess about the state of consenting adults sex lives...it's rather pathetic.

On this nation? What country do you live in? Because I have to tell you, I don't see much in the way of fire and brimstone falling from the sky around here. Just some rain. In fact, this year we're supposed to have some good water levels. Much better than last year.
Maybe you live in a third world country? Because here in the U.S., even though there is quite a bit of poverty and illnesses, we are a very well-off country. The "wrath of God" certainly isn't upon my nation.

You and others like you, practicing hatred, hatred and intolerance towards the differences between people throughout history has brought strife, war, and schism to the world, not just one nation, the world.

Oh, but its okay for the Mormon society to have multiple wives and force their women into arranged marriages for the sake of breeding because God told them to?
Its okay for you to throw stones because I'm sooooo sure that you haven't sinned...
Chances are, you live in a glass house too...
Its okay...say it with me "Hatred breeds from ignorance"...

Emily,
What can I say? When you're right, you're right, and as if
things haven't been bad enough, now they strutted their sin
right smack in the streets of the Holy City of Jesus Christ.
When asked why, the reply was "we are excersizing our
rights".
I beg to differ: they are excercizing their arrogance, disrespect, lack of character, lack of dignity, lack of decorum,
and blatent disregard for the Creator and the millions of people of several faiths. Wickedness somehow doesn't even quite cover it.........
