Maybe people haven't asked him to?
Sometimes people may look at an amputee and think it's too big for God to fix or heal... whereas cancer isnt as visible and noticable as an amputated limb.
And i dont think healing cancer victims is any small work! God is powerful and can heal...both body and spirit.

Well cancer is a lot less permanent. He cant well pick up your leg and reattach it! But Im sure if you pray and think positively, you can regain strength and do things you never thought possible. Maybe God can help you find a good deal on a prosthetic or something. Im being totally serious. Fortunately we live in a world of free will, so we arent robots doing everythingGod wants. Unfortunately, the price of that is sometimes we have accidents or someone hurts us. Overcomng temptation and tragedy is a great way to honor God and get a pass to a kick ass afterlife

What do the amputees need help with? When they die they get their missing part back. Or do you mean why doesn't God help the amputees with their struggles in life? Several reasons 1) God helps those who help themselves. 2) I believe one of our reasons for human existance is to help eachother. & 3) It gives the amputee a strong character. Many people who lost their limbs have gone on to do amazing things in their lives that most people only dream about.

Flesh is only flesh. It's simply a suit people have on so that they can live here on earth and experience the world first-hand. What God cuts away in flesh, He makes up for in spirit. Every person I've ever met with a medical problem is very emotionally tough and can keep their head on straight in bad situations. These amputees are also probably here to remind the rest of us that we don't have it quite so bad as we thought. As for the comment about the cancer victims, the cancer is life-threatening for sure. The amputees might be affected by pain and loss of blood, but other than that, they are not directly threatened.

How does God not help the amputees? How does God help cancer victims? You need to more specific.

When a person loses a testicle from cancer, does it miraculously return? No. How about a breast, or an ovary? No. There are implants you can get just as there are prosthetics. That may be God helping.

In physical (human) terms, mind is "limited" by our belief; we do not believe we can regenerate a limb any more than we believe we can move mountains with the power of mind, though we possess the power to do both.

What God sees, is. God does not see us except as God created us: Whole. Perfect. Complete as God Itself.

Missing a limb is not that big of a problem. Especially when one is still alive to do other things in their lives. All the people I know that have a missing limb have embraced it and have learned from it and they go on to help others(doing the will of God)

I think you question is a little rude. Help cancer victims sure, that's kind of belittling.
He helps everyone that calls on His name. What you perceive as help (growing back a new arm/leg) may not be the help God actually gave them.

He helped them survive the accident.
He helped them through the emotional and physical pain.
He helped them come through stronger!

So now you wanna talk medically (chemo).
Ok then, here's medical info on regeneration of limbs.

Dr. Anthony Atala, director of the Wake Forest center, said it's already possible to create some simple body tissues. He said the key will be learning how to combine those smaller tissues to form something larger, such as a finger or an ear.

Like someone previously said, amputations, cancer, and any other physical, emotional, and even spiritual hardships are God's tests for each one of us. That's the whole reason we're here on earth to face hardships, endure them, and LEARN from them. But remember God does not face you with a challenge that you cannot overcome.
