I think you are being funny, but I have only ever encounted one vampire (in the supernatural sense, though I agree with the posted Chase Bank comment). Tackling is not a perfered or recommended tactic. Even a professional tackler (ie footballer) will tell you it is controlled chaos, body parts eveywhere, notice how many legit plays have to be reviewed because hands end up in odd places. This is a problem when fighting a grappler like the vampire. Tackling really submits yourself to their tactics. Guns are best, though make sure it is a high calibur with some stopping power to keep them at bay until you can destroy the heart or cut off the head. Spear and longswords are great follow ups or alternates. Answer: I have destroyed a vampire, but I hope I never have to "tackle" one. Thanks for asking though.

I have tackled a few because one time I was in a football game against some vampires I play corner/running back and I was MVP of the game.
It helped that none of the vampires wanted to get near me on offense because I had garlic in my uniform

There was a time back in 99' when Buffy took me on patrol when Giles was sick...and we tackled around 5 vampires that night .
Or there was the time back in 03' when I blew out my knee and couldnt play football in the nfl ....so .... I decided to play overseas in a Transylvanian league. Little did I know the league was full of Vampires ...but never the less... i was determined to play in the NFL again and nothing would stop me . .I'd shower and bathe in Garlic ....chewed Garlic gum and drank holy water when I became thirsty . Needless to say I was the MVP that season.

As you can see I'm the one and only male slayer. After Willow did the spell all Potentials became Slayers. At the time I was making love with one of them ( a gentleman never give names) and got part of the Slayer essence (the long explanation can be given by Giles or Xander). I will be making an appearance soon in Season 8 currently in comics, so look forward to it!
