Many years I thought about the same thing. What would I be doing when the horn sounds and all would be going home to the mansion in the sky. My insight to this came a few years ago when I was diagnosed with copd emphysema. You are put on this earth for a very short period of time and then you are taken, by whom I don't know, or what. But I have figured this much out for sure, live is too short to be worrying about this now, get out there and live a good life, follow your heart and when the time comes you'll be happy

It does not scare me, But...I do wonder about my heart condition sometimes. I know it will be soon because all the Prophecy in Matt. 24 on and in 2Tim 3 onward, Plus the time frame laid out in Daniel has come to an end.
Paul the Apostle put it best In Romans 7:14 to the end.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. 15 For what I am working out I do not know, For what I wish I do not practice, but what I hate is what I do.
ETC. read the entire chapter to the end and you will see that you are not alone in the worry of falling short of being worthy.
God excepted Paul/ Saul with all his weaknesses as one of the for most bible book writers and a father in the early church.
You did not murder thousands of Christians before embracing the Christ. God and Jesus ask that you pray first for a path of rightness, and read the Bible daily, apply Bible council in your daily life! NOT PERFECTION!

If you know Christ you have nothing to fear. The Holy Spirit lives in you. He is there for life, The Holy Spirit IS the oil in the lamp. That scripture is actually a warning for fake Christians. You know, people who hang around Christians saying the same things Christians say but never really accepting Jesus as their Savior. They are just looking for opportunities to take advantage of God’s people. Remember, God says…
“For I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”._Hebrews13:5

Not at all! I believe in the assurance of the believer and that true believers will be judged according to our works only insofar as it pertains to our reward, not as a life or death matter. The returning Christ says, in Rev. 22:12--"And, behold, I COME quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." So, I feel as did the Apostle John, in Rev. 22: 20--" Even so, COME, Lord Jesus." The state of this world is a slippery slope and He can't return soon enough to get me out of here and take me home!!!

What is fear ,nothing but fear of fear itself,If your heart is true to your beliefs and you are practicing them to the best of your knowledge you are doing nothing wrong,I have been through a time of asking myself if I was worthy of fogivness for things that have occured in my life, but you cannot control the things that you did not know, you cannot take it back and do it again, our egos are our worst enemies they are our judges they always whisper in our ears and tell us how unworthy we are,How do you really see yourself do you believe that you are as worthy as anyone else? Look around yourself and ask does anyone I know think this of me,Im sure your answer will be no. Stop listening to that nasty little voice inside telling you that you are not worthy, stand sure by what you believe because it is the real you and Christ wants you to be just you.Dont worry about when the judgment will take place, it is already happening you are already asking youself what it is that you need to change and leave behind that is no longer usefull in your life and serves no real purpose anymore.Only we can look at ourselves and choose our paths, the lord gave us the power of free will, to be able to do this . Do not worry that is not your job Hand it to GOD he will always take care of you if you trust in him fully no harm will ever come to you. peace and light

No, it doesn't scare me. You need to trust your life to God completely. Give all to Him and He will keep you from falling away from Him.
He could come for any of us at anytime. Death ends everyones probation. It used to scare me thinking about dying, but Jesus has given me peace on this matter. He can give you peace, too, if you ask Him and follow everywhere He leads. Now I try to imagine what it will be like to meet Him in the clouds. Or wing my way to heaven. Or sit at the banquet table with all of the redeemed. So much more pleasant to think about these things and have the reassurance from God that through faith in Christ I will be there.
If you are uncertain of your walk with Him, spend more time in prayer & Bible study. Find a church that searches for the truth in the BIble.
Here's some great online studies that changed my thinking & my life:

When I was much younger in my faith, I sometime worried about this too! But now I believe that "His sheep know His voice" and He will not allow we who know Him as Lord and Savior to be caught unawares. I am now certain that no Christian has to concern himself with the day and the hour of Christ's return. Please read the scripture I have quoted below, where the Apostle Paul is addressing the Church at Thessalonica.
"Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, 'Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Thessalonians 5:1-11(NIV)

No. I already asked the Lord that I want to be part of the 1st resurrection. And the Lord has already confirmed to me that I will be part of the 1st resurrection. Of course, I need to have my oil full in my lamp. Starting my day with the Lord. Following after the Spirit throughout the day. Praying at the end of the day.

Doesn't scare me at all. If it were to happen now that would be fine with me.
It's not as if you have to be praying when he comes in order to be caught up. If you've accepted Christ and are living for him, you're good to go. ;)
