Basically, she just blurted it out in the middle of lecture. I laughed and so did everyone else. She got embarrassed and left. I don't think I should report it to my boss because having anything strange like that on my record might hurt my future as a teacher. I am hoping it's an isolated incident, but if it happens again. What should I do? What should I do now?

This is a followup to a Christian question.

After all, he offers $250,000 (which may or may not exist) to anyone who can demonstrate evolution (although he defines it differently than the scientific community) to a reasonable doubt (meaning with 100% certainty, allowing for no other possibilities whatsoever) in front of a neutral committee (handpicked by Hovind himself) and according to certain criteria (carefully worded so as to rule out any possibility whatsoever of the challenge ever being met).


Maybe it has something to do with the fact he's currently doing time in a Federal Prison for tax evasion.

I have been look through on the 'Religion' Blog saying that if someone is a Christian then they Hate....???? Whoever that question is talking about?

I even see on questions on this site that are not talking to Christians on this blog - even questions that have nothing to do with religion or Christianity?

As for myself I have NOTHING against ANYONE - That is against what I read in My Bible (KJV)! Jesus Himself would not approve of that! He even ate with sinners and said Himself "Love the Sinner - Hate the Sin." That is EXACLY as I feel.

When I see people who I feel have 'sinned' - according to what 'They' write - I Pray for Them. I don't 'hate' them!

This is something that I have learned and am not afraid to talk about. How about you? All you educated evolutionists out there? Well?

You keep talking about all the proof, the facts of Evolution having taken place. It is accepted and respected science.

No it is not, it is a joke and the joke is on you because you were duped into believing it. Now out of embarassement you cannot back down, you have to defend your position.

You typically cannot even carry on a decent conversation without calling names and hurling insults when you run out of intelligent things to say.

So, where is it? The proof? Examples please. Specific evidences.

In the second half of the first century, following Peter the apostle, Linus the Bishop of Rome established the doctrine of Apostolic Succession whereby the authority granted by Jesus to his apostles at the Pentacost to teach in his name was believed to be passed on from the original apostles to their disciples, in turn.

Now, given that the only Christian denominations that can truly trace their history back to the apostolic period are the Roman Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox, by what authority do evangelical ministers claim the right to interpret Christian scripture?

Furthermore, if these denominations are truly lacking in authority to proclaim scripture, why should they not be considered apostates, heretics and false prophets?

And if they are thus, arent they (and their followers) going to hell?

You had to park so far away that you had to be shuttled in; and it would add another half-hour onto your already hour drive in. Yes, they are reasigning our parking places and I may have to park very far and be shuttled to and from. I could walk if I really wanted to but let me metion that I work in downtown Detroit so for safety reasons I don't think that is a good idea.

I ran across a webpage where some guy was saying that www means 666 in hebrew and that the internet is the beast or an image of the beast I guess. My heart condition is one that can cause sudden death....which I came close to when I went into cardiac arrest about 7 years ago. I do have an AICD implanted wich keeps me from fatal arrythmias. The fact is I am still limited as to what I can do. so my question is, am I disabled or not?

Atheist got bent out of shape when a Christian towing Put in Big print Atheist need not apply. The towing company is nonprofit supported by churches and for people in need of towing. Why do Atheist get bent out of shape over this?

I've read a little on the subject. My grandmother strongly disagrees, and says "we all have an individual relationship with Christ, and God would not make us pay for the sins of our ancestors"
But I have to wonder because we all have to pay for Eve and Adam eating the forbidden fruit. I didn't eat it, but I have to die for it.
