I'm translating a thing for a Japanese SF convention, and I could use some help with these idioms. Links are very much appreciated!

目されていた「宇宙気流」に掲載されたことの影響は大きくetc.
Something like "the noted 'Space Stream' was published and had a great effect on etc."?

大きな目で見た場合作家側がある程度SFの本質の線を通すこと
From a wider view?

それに目をつけた柴野さんがetc.
Shibano saw this and etc.

Also, I'd like to know why 上梓 (above the catalpa tree?) means to publish.

(-: Thanks for any help or links you can give me!

上梓(joushi) is to publish because 梓(azusa), the catalpa tree, used to be used for woodblock printing
