Odd, those explanations don't apply with the over-used monkey bit.
Oh well, I still think everyone gets to drink!

As long as there's man, ther'll be dirt, and as long as there's women there be dirty old men

How about that. God is still making babies and has not run out of dirt as raw materials. Also, when one man dies, he turns back into dirt so God will never run out of raw materials.

Why do man have ribs IF woman was made from a man's rib? Because God only use one of Adam's rib to create Eve.

Better yet.......how come women have one more rib than men? Is that an old wives tale???? Pops

I agree, some men are dirt, others are worse. At least that's what some ladies tell me.

But I can't understand your argument. Dirt is inorganic, while human beings are organic. One cannot come from the other.

If you read Genesis, you'll find that god took only one rib from Adam, not his whole ribcage. And this idea is not limited to Genesis; Athena allegedly sprung from the side of Zeus.

Some men are actually born without one rib. This doesn't mean that these men sprouted women from their missing rib, although it is a fascinating idea, and perhaps a fantasy of some men. Like I mentioned, some men are dirt. ;)

Everything is true and illustrative all at the same time !!!

God did not have to rest on the 7th day, but he did !!!

God did not take a bone from Adam's head or his foot, not that she should be over him or under foot. But instead He took a rib from under his arm that Adam should protect her !!!

Yes you were made from dirt. Are you taking minerals with your vitamins? You should if you aren't. You have to keep that 'dirt' body in shape les the doctor get all your money !!!

Why is there still dirt?
God had to leave some left over dirt around so the carpet cleaners would still have a vocation and so that Iowa would still be interesting to drive through.

there should be no monkeys--dirt--I'm ticklish so forget the rib.Did you know the earth is round? Have you ever taken that bet on what was his name--salvation nothing lost bet--It's been so long since I heard it I forgot his name? If Noah had a boat why is there water? If the sky is blue is God sad?
I suggest these get posted at midnight and no other time.

Men are still being made and when they die...well you know what they turn back into don't you? By the way, worms eat dirt so how did man get made to begin with?

God didn't use all the dirt to create Adam. Eve came from only one of Adam's ribs. That's why I have an extra rib, too.

Only needed enough dirt/dust to create one man and one rib for the women.

And how can someone who supposedly believes they are made of dirt/dust/mud/soil be offended at the suggestion that instead they evolved from highly intelligent primates who shared most of the same DNA as them?!

God formed man from dust and breathed into him the breath of life. Eventually after we die, our bodies rot back into dust. As for God forming woman from a rib of Adam, that is a divine miracle dude. As my pastor says, "Whoa, man!!!!" =)
