I group of my friends and I are playing bingo like every other week now. We really enjoy it and have a great time. They always ask for or i.d. thinking we are not even 18 yet. My friends and I are around 25. They even get mad at us when we win! I am trying to figure out why they hate the fact that us "young people" there words are playing bingo?

Does that not sound so silly? So this is one of the offensive terms used for African Americans. It sounds like something a 4 year old would make up. It almost sounds cute... except that it's considered offensive....

In that question about the guy who impersonated the inquirer's mother, at least half of the people who answered said it was perfectly okay to give the guy the silent treatment. I suggested that she should at least tell him why she's upset and give him a chance to apologize, and got thumbed down!

I'm simply amazed at how thin-skinned people can be. It's not like the guy was a stranger. They knew each other. He clearly didn't mean any harm. I thought more people would be able to see past their kneejerk reactions. What's up with that?

Because, my common sense tells me that these types of people aren't listening to a God who created us but a god who destroys us.

And that would make them messengers of the destroyer, wouldn't it?

why this page is just for them ? you write a lot of questions which we English cant translate or understand. Your grasp of the English Language is terrible with words missing and bad spelling. Also what is gay pride or pink pride you never tell us. You are making me very annoyed at our cousins over there.

As a student of both politics and religion, I understand how both of them work, but haven't been able to figure this one out.

This is a SERIOUS question, I'm not just trying to offend people. Please do not respond with irrate personal opinions about either, biblical quotes badmouthing Satanism, or the like. I know enough about both belief systems and If anyone gets verbally abusive or posts something that doesn't answer the question at least a little I'll report them.

So, that's it. Please explain your answers, why you think which one carries the worst rep with society and whatever details you might have. Thanks.

More than not, it is a place where people mock one another and try to come up with the most interesting put-down of another's beliefs. Anyone who wanted to ask an honest question or get a serious answer would have to wade through so much juvenile "babble" that it would be hard to do.

I spend a lot of time, in the public forum debating and discussing with people whose beliefs differ from mine. We don't mock each other, we don't slam each other, and I think that we all come away more intelligent for the exercise.

If all you can do is resort to put downs and mockery, I just think you have never really thought through your own position enough to intellegently defend it.

Is there any cultural pressure for Hispanic teens to get married and/or have children at a younger age than other cultures? I'm asking this because it seems that hispanics reproduce at a slightly more accelerated rate than other cultures. I'm not asking this out of ignorance or to sound like a racist or to offend anyone; and I'm sorry if I have. I just wanted to get an honest answer, and again i dont mean to offend anyone out there.

For my summer job,I work in an EXTREMELY fashionable clothing store, and I mean EXTREMELY fashionable. Now on occasion, we have a customer who comes in who shall we say is a WEE BIT CHUBBY. Anyways so they try to SQUEEZE into our jeans while panting and gasping loudly in the dressing room and the results are simply a DISASTER. Today, I told one of these gals that they are just too small for her and she might want to get a REALITY CHECK or simply LOSE SOME WEIGHT. She was NOT AMUSED and left the store without thanking me for MY OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Why do my customers get so upset when I provide EXTREMELY valuable fashion advice?
