Not your spiritual faith - your faith in human beings.

Today an ambulance siren blared and everyone on the road pulled over. Thats my example.

A town that I live near was recently hit by a tornado; 90% of the town was destroyed. Seeing how citizens from all around came together to help take care of the victims, their animals, and making sure that family members were contacted helped restore my faith that people are basically good.

Tragic events like hurricane Katrina when ordinary citizens stepped in and some actually lost their lives trying to save others. The best example is 9/11 when firefighters and police tried to save others in the twin towers and so many died. That was true dedication regardless of the danger to themselves. It was, in retrospect self-sacrifice. I know you don't want to hear a faith-based response, but I must add one. Jesus said, "There is no greater love than if one gives up his life for his fellow man".

Despite all the bad we here, there are great people all around this world.
The red cross is there for world emergencies.
I was once homless and addicted to herrione, but a recovery center in new Orleans yook me in and I git a new chance on life.
But if you want your faith restored do it yourself...Volenteer!!! Teach kids how to read, read to seniors at homes.as individuals we are responsible.
God bless

Random acts of kindness and caring from total strangers.

I dont know if your examples a very good one, though.. considering its a law that people have to pull over and let an ambulence through if the siren and the lights are going. if they dont and the patient dies, those who are caught can be charged with manslaughter.

Faith in humanity has nothing to do with an ambulance siren, and a law that tells you,you must pull over to the side of the road. You may get a ticket if you do not. God said put not your trust in man. If one is wise he puts his or her faith in God. Can man even trust himself,if one has a weakness, would you put it near you to be tempted?

Sad to put ones faith in humans yet we trust our Doctors, parents, siblings, friends, lovers, pharmacist, etc.

God is always last on the toetum pole.

I don't look for things to restore my faith in humanity. I believe that people are basically good. I try to do things that will restore OTHER people's faith in humanity by doing small things with great love...and it works.

today a friend of mine helped a man get his 2 daughters back out of the carseat.

A man was going fishing and he parked his truck (with his boat attached) right on the boat landing. The truck's brakes gave out and the truck went fully into the water, people rushed to go help them break the side windows with rocks but it didn't work so they took the back one out and thank God they were still alive, those poor kids, i can only imagine if no one was there to help the father and the father would have to live the rest of his life while his two daughters would drown right then and there.

That....but it's a law, so...

anyway, I love to see when someone's house burns down, or someone died of cancer, or maybe someone's house was destroyed by a flood or storm.....and people from the community pull together to raise money, donate clothes and food, etc.

Also, when people(although they're mainly celebrities) speak out for things like Darfur and Hurricane Katrina victims...when people are out there trying to get help for people who can't help what is happening to them.
