Difference between evolution and intelligent design theories?

thanks for the answers. by the way, look it up intelligent design THEORIES do exist so stop telling me that intelligent design isn't a theory because it's really not helpful.

ID is only called a theory by those who believe it has any basis in reality. No actual accredited scientist gives it more than a passing glance with a chuckle.

It is not a theory because it does not postulate anything. It begins and ends with god and refuses to allow any contradictions.

Evolution is a true theory because it is fluid and is not a final product. It changes as new evidence and methods of analyzing evidence is discovered. As all true science is.

Religion is based on fable, myth and superstition.

Evolution is the idea that there was one life form to start out with (without claiming where this actual life form came from, that is called abiogenesis, no matter what people tell you) and the life form adapted to environment to cause it to change and survive. Now, this life form evolved into different species, with different adaptations being necessary for different geographic regions and what not, leading all the way to the diverse species we see today.

Intelligent design states that basically life is so diverse that only an intelligent creator could be responsible for all the different life forms on earth, with them being created separately.

The similarity is that both take Faith.

If evolution started from one life form then what did this life form have sex with to procreate? In its early stages of existence it had no brain to decide to change into something it was not. Some facts have HUGE holes in them so they are only theories.

Inside the official definition of Intelligent Design, it bashes evolution. Whereas it should be explaining itself.

Intelligent Design - mythology based, no evidence

I think you should review what exactly a 'theory; is in a scientific sense. Intelligent Design does not qualify.
