A former coworker of mine sent me an invitation to attend a BBQ party to celebrate her graduation (She got a MBA). I couldn't attend but I wanted to send her a card. What should I write in the card? Should I have something like, "Sorry I couldn't make it to your party....."??

not just the islamic one but there are many in europe and africa, asia etc. So why do people listen to the media and only focus on brown skinned terriosts. What if a terriost was white or another colour wouldn't that person manage to get away, and carry out the attack. I think we should inspect people the same at borders and airports and not just check certain skin colours. If we want to live in a more safer country i think we ought to keep our security not narrowed on one group, because what if another group decides to attack then what will happen. What do you think should be done?

Can we follow common rules of courtesy on here?? Can we be tolerant of others even if we disagree? Can we refrain from name calling? Can we have fun without being mean spirited or degrading? Can we show basic respect? For instance, it really isn't respectful to tell someone they are going to burn in hell, nor to refer to the God some people revere as a pixie, or fairy.

There is a constant push for people to make it spend it and evaluate their lives by it. It is worshiped like a god with all things ascociated with it venerated. People who have it are valued more than people without it reguardless of actual skills to produce.

...as opposed to others. Wouldn't you like a separate category, for when you want to question and answer members of your group only? Many outsiders act very foolish when it comes to someone else's beliefs.

I've recently found myself short of underwear and stuff. I can't drive yet so i would have to go with either my mom or my friends. my mom would never just drop me off (not that i would want to go shopping by myself, it wouldn't be fun). so how could i do this?

just because it isn't scientifically true? Isn't it faulty to hold a faith book to the modern standards of science? They are two completely different endeavors, with different purposes. Poetry has meaning, songs have meaning, metaphors, fables, parables etc. have meaning and are True, right?

At one point in the bible, the only existing humans were Adam, Eve, Cain and Seth. Somehow Cain and Seth had children, but the bible doesnt explain with whom. This is kinda creepy. Someone explain please?

Life reveals purpose, purpose requires action, and action promotes change.

You don't have to be famous, or have alot of money to change the world. It starts with a desire to make yourself a better person. Love, charity, compassion, respect, and selflessness, are all characteristics that can promote change.

So ask yourself what contribution have I given to the world.
We can all complain about the state that our world is in....but what have we done to fix it?
