If you disagree: Why do these religions teach things that are different than your own belief? Can there be more than one truth?

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

When it comes to the existence of god and his chosen prophet any answer is either right or wrong. It is extremely arrogant not to mention dangerous to claim a monopoly on truth concerning these questions. Like it or not organised religion ultimately teaches humans to privately or publically condemn the next man or woman based on their choice of the voice that truly represented god. Those believers that are more accepting and open-minded are not truly following their text.

1) No, I disagree. Any religion can claim that the rest of them are "infidels" or created by their bad guy, or whatever. It's just solipsistic BS.

2) Because religions come out of different people who came from different cultures and different times. Humans have wild imaginations and want answers to cosmic questions, plus a way to ritualistically express the things they can't quite put into words. I honestly do not care how many other people practice my religion. If anything, I'm skeptical of the people who seem a little too excited to join.

Very tricky stuff there rev. You never stated which religion you were asking. So, as a pagan, even I could agree with you (except of course that I don't believe in Satan, a minor point but still).

There are many paths to the same destination. 2 wrongs do not make a right, but 3 lefts do.

in my mind there are many religions that do carry truth but there is one that is a total fraud of the so called christian religions.i think certain religions had special callings at different times in history that was relevant to a specific event.but i know GOD has people in all churches and religions in the whole world.and no i am not arrogant but i am a thinker and not put off by popular opinion.

Disagree. There are many paths that can be taken. No religion in particular imparts full truth. All have a GRAIN of truth to them.

I have yet to find one that does teach what I believe.

I strongly disagree. Take a look at our history at all of the thousands of gods present before the start of Christianity. How do you explain that if God supposedly created Satan?

Those who say that are trying to implement their own trick. Polarization is necessary to make war; divide and conquer is necessary for victory. Therein is never found the reconciliation Jesus of Nazareth taught. Therefore, religion is of human origin.

I agree. No, I don't think it is arrogant. There are a lot of theories, but only one truth.
