I have the same problem, I'm perfectly nice to everyone and yet they glare at me and say spiteful things. I'll telll you what my friend told me- they're jealous, I dunno if it's true....but it's the best I've got. They're probably jealous of something you have, looks, love, money, decent friends? any of those could conjure jealously. Just ignore them and don't worry about it, if they want to be rude that's just fine, just pay no mind.

Then you need to choose to stay away from these people and ignore them. One or two people may not like you, but that doesn't mean everyone hates you. Maybe some people are just spiteful and self-centered while some people would be glad to have a friend like you.

People can be really stupid sometimes. For example, look at the number of rude replies to your question.
Anyway, people can just be plain nasty. I know that there were times for me when I was rude to people for no reason. My advice is to just be yourself and continue to be kind and patient. Eventually (and hopefully!), those people should get a reality check and realize how rude and immature they were being. You've shown a lot of maturity by just staying nice to them. You'll turn out a much nicer person!
