I was SOOOOO COOOOOL.........
Really I was and it is so funny to my 10 year old when he hears someone say that, because apparently I am now a complete and total nerd.....Well, I am somewhat cooler than a lot of other parents, and according to him parents aren't suppose to be cool. I find it quite the myth that stereotypes end up a certain way after high school. I know jocks that are now doctors and lawyers, cheerleaders who are now RN's and teachers. High school is just a time in your life for finding yourself, and later on it maybe that you find you do not need to be the cool one, or the preppy, or the punk rocker, or the Miami Vice look alike.....I graduated high school in the 80's and I am much different person today, yet I would not be who I am today if I had not been that cool girl with all that attitude way back when. BTW COOL QUESTION....
Peace.

I considered myself cool and thats all that matters
But yeah... I was the girl that everyone bullied, not just one or two groups, I didn't have friends until I begun homeschooling

Why should wether you were cool or not be important? News flash, in the real world, no one gives a damn. The awesome jocks in high school will be nothing when they leave it. The sluts will be prostitutes, the popular blonde bimbos will be working at wal-mart. Get over it, all 'cool' does is hurt people and cause people to be bullied, and bullying can cause long term effects, its not some joke or just a kid thing.

I'm popular enough, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't make me any more or any less than anyone else. I hate how people get all caught up in being popular or not. All it really causes is a bunch of fights that could be avoided. I can't remember who said it.. but it was along like lines of "when you get in the real world no one really gives a damn" and that is so true. It doesn't matter if you were prom queen or a band geek -- no one really cares.

Was not all that cool in school,am not that cool now at 52 and do not see the need to be ever in my life. Being cool only means being popular and why do some need the attention to survive and others do just fine without it.

No, I wasn't "cool" in high school. I was a jokester and a loner all at once.

I was a total dork. Which is why I kept to myself. Didn't have much friends.
