2 of India"s claasical languages
we have often came up with debate which is older and such, nevertheless both langauges are asset to the Indian soil.
These are 2 languages which gave rise to other Indian languages spoken now.
Sanskrit is hardly Spoken, at times it is also considered a dead language, but still lives in the rythm of the Vedas,
Tamil is still living,
-But what importance is India giving to these 2 languages in order to hold up it"s rich history
-Is there anything done or is it jus like a water flowing freely finding it"s way

The fact is that if Sanskrit became a linguistic member of India and if Hindi can be considered national language setting aside indigenious languages like Tamil which has a rich history, what is wrong in Urdhu or Arabic coming in, the whole system in India is corrupted, from the very time the aryans entered, those morons raped the purity of the true Indian idenity with some fabricated infos, when the british and Mughulians came, the natural way of life is challenged, now when the sinle lage bloack in the main role are Hindians, the whole system is now acting on a selfish means, it is jus a first *** first serve policy, nothing to do with pride and roots,

Useless India

Sanskrit, refined version of Pali, and, Tamil, refined version of Grandham, are still very much in vogue, both subjects of formal learning in Universities not only in India, but also abroad! Sanskrit appears to have deeper roots than Tamil, wider patronage, and literary base a shade broader than Tamil! There are some families in MP and UP, and in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, all in India, known to be very proficient in Sanskrit, they even have Sanskrit as the 'working language' at home! But, of course, Tamil is spoken and understood, and read, so much more today, at all levels. Both the languages are not dead, and are not likely to die, too, in the near, forseeable future!

Language is meant for communication either by oral or written.

There are many good things told in each language by many great personalities.. scientists.. etc.

We can gain knowledge through Language.

Just like to browse the net whether I use which kind of PC does not matter. What I learn from it matters most.

Let us dont fight based on languages. Let us learn them and gain knowledge.

Incidently both Tamil and Sanskrit has lot to teach us about anything in the world right from simple material science to highest devotion

It is our responsibility to preseve these old languages.

But sanskrit atleast is not getting damaged by foreign language intrusion. Though it is not spoken widely still it is preserved intact in the scriptures. But look at Tamil, what we speak is not Tamil but Tanglish.

hehe lol Sanskrit older than Tamil ?

wat a joke ?

Sanskrit is a language of the intruders Aryans, it is language created by the aryans to cover the fact of them being known as nomads/intruders, the birth of sanskrit is no doubt has the influence of Tamil.
Tamil language should indeed cannot be compared wt sanskrit, well if sanskrit is considered classical, so be it,

But the classical status shlould not be made pair wt Tamil, coz Tamil language is way much older than Sanskrit,
Tamil language history dates bk 9000bc, unlike Sanskrit which dates back 1500bc,
There is a big gap btw 9000bc and 1500bc

firstly indo-aryans will cme up with all kind of lies and nonsense to hail up the fabrications,
it is a clear fact sanskrit is indeed the language of the intruders,
the aryans are the creators of sanskrit ,
Wheras Tamil was present in India way back the time when sasnskrit was swimming in the tongue of the aryans who were moving as nomads, place to place looking for shelter.

Tamil is older than Sanskrit, it is a fact

Both these old languages will face the same death as the other olden languages of the world like greek. - Thanks to our great politicians who want modern and islamic language to persist at the expense of hindu languages like sanskrit or tamil. Soon India will have Arabic or Urdudu as our official language. Truely a sad story but our politicians are doing nothing to preserve our idendity.
