ANY other path. Or does every one of you think that Christianity is THE ONLY WAY, PERIOD, END OF TOPIC?

If there is one, please tell me what it is and why you believe it is an acceptable and good and "won't send you to hell" spiritual path.

I believe there are "many paths up the same mountain." There must be many ways to God. Christianity makes sense to me and is the way for me, but I'm not going to pronounce judgement on others or their way. Also, I don't believe in hell, and I don't think there is a real scriptural foundation for a belief in a literal hell, or that God will condemn anyone to hell for eternity.

This is not being critical or putting any body down. so please do not take it that way, OK? A person who is a Christian doesn't believe in but one way into heaven. If they believed another way they would be of another faith. But I am not a judge, if another spiritual path feels more right to you, than you should follow your own path.See some people get mad when a christian says that they only believe in one way. But that is their belief. Just like someone who doesn't believe in a God of any kind, that is their belief. Every one is in titled to their own belief, don't you think so.

I am a Christian and I have debated this topic internally for years.

I believe that with all the different cultures and races in our society. We were not all meant to worship one God or the same way. I think Judaism, Christianity, Islam all stem from the same God. I think that one God created different religions to get his world to the people. It is just a matter geographical chance which God you pray to. I can't believe that a good Jew or Muslim will go to hell because they don't share my same Christian beliefs. I know most Christians don't agree with me. But, I think there is more than one way to get into heaven.

What happens to those who have never been graced to know the word of God. I am sure millions of people have died in this world and never new of Jesus Christ. Never heard of the Son of God never read the Word. I cannot believe all those people went to hell.

Most Christians will say "Yes" actually, but here's the catch: they're all spiritual ways and paths that lead to, wait for it, Jesus and God.

I'd like to know how many Christians believe there are other spiritual ways that are okay, but don't lead to Jesus and/or God. That's the better question, I think.

Yes, that is what Christians believe. There isn't much you can do to change that. People must be allowed to think and believe what they will. This is the place God has intended them to be. If and when God want's them differently, they will be and no one will be the wiser. The only thing you can do is wake up to this illusion, this dream. But it will not happen if one is identifying themself with the ego.

God Himself came down from Heaven in the form of the human man Jesus. Jesus was born into the world via a human birth, as God's only begotten Son. He lived a perfect sinless life. Then although He had never sinned, He sacrificed Himself in our place for our sin in order to prove how much He loves us and in order to forgive all of our sin.

Since He went through the act of torture and death to do all of this for us, why would there be another way to gain forgiveness and eternal life with Him? Why would He just say "OK what ever way they choose. It can be their decision not mine."

God created us. He sets the rules. We did not create Him. Jesus is the only way to come to God for a renewed relationship, forgiveness and eternal life. The only way.

I have found Sufism (the Islamic mystical tradition) deeply inspiring as a Christian.

Any Christian who denies that there is general revelation and salvation everywhere has never read the Gospel of John. In the very first chapter it says that the same Word that Christians believe is incarnate in Jesus also "gives light to every human being".

Professing that Jesus came and died for your sins as the ultimate blood sacrifice, confessing of your sins and believing you are saved by grace through faith is the only way to Heaven. All others lead to Hell.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life

John 14:6
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved

Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God; not as result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Lady Morgana.....If there were another way...we would tell you...believe me.....Defending the Gospel is not easy....no one enjoys being hated....We can not change what we know to be truth and further if we were to comprimise our beliefs to appease others...we ourselves would be held to account.

Jesus plainly stated: "No man comes to God except through Me".

and again; "If you do not believe that I am whom I claim to be,then you will die in your sin and where I am going, you may not come".

Prov. 16:25 - "THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, BUT ITS END IS THE WAY OF DEATH."

No, there are many paths.
Christianity is simply one of many, and I accept it as more advantageous to my cultural subset. Whether or not it is more right on this or that is a matter of opinion, not fact.
I keep many religious texts on my shelf, and have made a hobby of looking for the universal attributes of all religion.
