do you think that us Christians could be him? I mean every picture of a Saint holding the child Jesus usually turns out to be one who is name a Dr. of the Church. and the people even alive now who have a huge devotion to the child Jesus are the ones who do the most for the Church it seems.

There's so much evidence that there wasn't even a Jesus. I did some research and now I see why some people are atheists. It's so confusing. I'm not even sure I believe in god that much anymore. Maybe the bible and Jesus were just a myth. What do you think.

Unlike Vedic religion, which is pure Monotheism, Holy Bible preaches the doctrine of Trinity, i.e. the existence of three Gods : God, the Father, God, the Son (Christ) and God, the Holy Ghost (Spirit). The Christians believe that each God is equal in power and glory, and that these three are one. Thus Christianity revolves round the theory of ‘three in one’ and ‘three equal to one’. And they still call it ‘monotheism’ ! They claim that their doctrine of Trinity or Trinitarianism amounts to monotheism.

I'm pretty sure this universal rule will apply, we have all heard it before, applied to other written works:

Cultists cannot understand Dawkins, Sagan or Hawking, until they have been born-again into scientific, rational thought, and have accepted these scientific geniouses into their hearts. otherwise, it will all be just too confusing to them, and they won't be able to make sense of it.

Does age really matter when it comes to marriage? In the bible it seems that young woman were married to older men. Look at the book of Ruth. Do you think that age really matters to God? Would God set you up to marry a person alot older then you? What do you think of a attractive 28 yr old marrying a hansome and physically fit 49 yr old?

I am just curious. I turn twenty-one this year and my understanding of politics is limited to the last five years. President Bush's loyalty to his Evangelical base frankly frightens me as a non-christian and after noting each of the democratic candidates' doing lipservice to protestants, I couldn't stand to identify with that party anymore.
My viewpoint in politics is technically moderate (without this religious issue), but I have gone to the Green Party anyways because they are at least honest and forthcoming about their platform and plans for the country.
How do you feel about the current trend in politics that blatantly favors one religion over another?

When you tell a homosexual person "You know that's a sin and you are going to hell" HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THEM SAY "Oh my god! Really?! I had no idea! Thank you so very much! I owe my soul to you"?
I bet they haven’t!
Why do you bother? We already know what that book says.
Do you honestly think that being extremely rude and hateful(to the bigots) or preaching to us out of some book that some mortal guy wrote (to the others) is really going to make us magically turn heterosexual?

Is all I have to say WHY? Why can't you mind your own business and start worrying about something that actually EFFECTS YOUR LIFE PHYSICALLY!
Why put any energy into homosexually?
You are just wasting your time because you are NEVER going to get the results that you want.
And also, you make looking like a Christian SCARY! Like it's a cult of hatred.
YOU do a terrible job at representing your religion! YOU have no RIGHT to judge! let your god do so and be quiet!

Great MEN like Martin Luther KIng and jesus and Ghandi all sacriced themselves for what they thought was right and to help the people here in the real world. If there is a heaven that would get them in i'm sure. But if they did it to get to heaven first is that self serving and kind of against the whole selflessness that in reality they surely exibhited?
