I seriously doubt it...I've watched Sesame Street when I was a youth, Dracula(Legosi, Chaney) movies when I was a little older, and other vampire flix thru the years...I don't think that I've EVER associated vampires with Satan, or heard ANYBODY else do it...I may have associated them with the Wolfman, Mummy, and Frankenstein's Monster, but never the devil, even though they are the "undead" and destroyed by pure sunlight and the image of the cross.
But most kids that of Sesame Street viewing age wouldn't even know about the effects of holy water, crucifixes, and hallowed ground on a blood-sucker.

Having a Vampire on Sesame street encourage children to like counting numbers with joy. Adults are the ones giving ugly meaning to whatever they see children are enjoying.

I've thought I've seen it all but I guess I haven't - you are asking about a time-honored show like Sesame Street now? Not even the most radical tv evangelists have said anything about that.

People read more into what is there - he teaches children to count therefore he is count dracula. It's pretty straight forward really.

If a stuffed muppet vampire is inspiring your child to worship satan then maybe you should question your parenting abilities instead of a children's tv show. Its time for parents to take responsibility for their kids instead of blaming everyone else.

Of course not. But if you drill it into their heads it will. His being a vampire is never discussed. He is a COUNT...therefore his thing is counting. GET REAL!

Yes. Christians, please don't let your children watch Sesame Street. They will grow up being smart and will end up questioning your faith. Keep your children dumb at all costs.
