Atheists and Agnostics, you all share a common knowledge of an incredible reality and truth, despite being miles apart....
...When you see the clueless and sarcastic answers from believers, do you chuckle, or cannot help feel compassion for those that have no idea because they are not given to know or perhaps have rejected the knowledge out of arrogance? What is your first reaction?

I have come to the conclusion that the only reaction I can have to them is indifference. (If I want to maintain a good mood)

I have come to the conclusion that the majority of them are beyond reason. You cannot use logic or rationality to explain why their religion is false. You cannot use this, because they will refuse to acknowledge it. You can prove them wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt, but they will deny it, both to you, and to themselves, simply because they are not interested in the truth. They are only interested in maintaining their suspension of disbelief.

And I don't blame them for this, at least not anymore.

I don't blame them, because I honestly don't think they are responsible for this behavior. It's not that they WANT to be ignorant, or live in a fantasy. They have no choice. They suffer from a mental illness that they have had since childhood. It is religious brainwashing, and it is extremely powerful. And honestly, I think most of them are beyond help.

Any of them that are capable of breaking free from that brainwashing will do it on their own, although they may need some support from us when they do it.

But regardless, I have found that it is pointless to reason with anyone who is not capable of reasoning. They have to be willing to think about their beliefs. And that willingness is all it takes.

So for those that are unwilling, and/or assault my character/way of life, I just try my best to forgive them... for they know not what they do... :(

Actually, everyone is entitled to their own belief. I could care less what anyone thinks. As long as what I use works for me. I am Selfish... Being Agnostic- Not knowing and not caring if there is a God or Gods...makes my life simple. The clueless sarcastic idiots preach biblical principles they were conned into believing, yet show no compassion or understanding for those who do not think as they do. How ignorant is that? Why would I EVER try to change what I believe, to be a hypocrite. What works for me, may not work for you. What works for you, may not work for me!!!

Atheists and Agnostics alike... share belief in being benevolent noble people because thats how they want to be treated in turn. They believe in Humanity and Humanity's own ability to create happiness for the self and all whom they love and care for. How many believers do you see, sit at the dinner table and food magically pops up? Just like non-believers, the believers still need to work and create a living for family... so do atheists, so do agnostics...

All else is just labels

There's no such thing as an incredible truth. If it's believable, it's credible.

I tend to skim and ignore, because it's all the same delusional thinking, coming from minds that are all similarly indoctrinated. In other words, they all sound the same and what they are saying is so ridiculous that it isn't worth spending a lot of time thinking about it.

I don't blame people for believing (I'm agnostic) in a higher power. I guess some have been in some hard times in the life and they find religion to be a "safe haven" for them. My mother is very religious (she's been through a lot with my brother who was a big trouble maker) and she cannot understand how I cannot believe in the stuff she does. She always tells me how God got her through this and that, but I just think she gives herself to little credit. It was her who did it, not God. Sometimes I get angry because people want to impose their beliefs on others forcefully, which can make that person being imposed on scared or make reality to them skewed. Sometimes I laugh, because people want to rely solely on God to make decisions, I ask myself.."How can people be so gullible and do that?"...I guess it depends on the person.

Antitheists besides the undeniable fact that… My reaction to them is compassion and now and returned difficult or employer love. when I see B.S i'm going to call B.S purely like absolutely everyone religious or no longer, could do. Yes, the truth that gods are superstition, or at least that there's insufficient reason to believe there are any.

I feel many things. First, I feel frustration that people just can't get past their emotional indoctrination. I feel sad that they are in a mental rut that is very difficult to break out of. And I feel embarrassed that in this day and age we haven't moved past such superstition. Though sometimes it is funny seeing how they react to questions they just can't answer.

Depends on the personality of the person in question. If the person is a decent person- ambivalence. If I'm looking at the internet version of Pat Robertson, annoyance.

Poetic, but there are some of us who flame and answer in arrogance as well. Just as we must resist their tendency to generalize us, so too must we resist our tendency to generalize ourselves. Then we stop being free thinkers, and turn into a religion.

I just shake my head and groan "Not another one." But there are some atheists and agnostics who flame as well...that definitely needs to stop.
