I decided to remove myself from organized religion on the whole. And yes there has been a remarkable improvement.
Afterlife? as in after religion or as in the life after I die. If it's the afterlife as in after I die I'll have to get back to on this.

i was born and raised a Catholic. i realized a few years back that this was the worng religion for me. I soon found out the beliefs of Judaism and became very interested. i am in the process of converting to Judaism and i have never been happier

Absolutely since becoming an athiest it doesn't even bother me at all ;)
