LOL...get used to it....
However, God "speaks" in many ways....through the Holy Spirit, He guides us to scripture, not just by a quiet "knowledge", but also by letting us "see" the words and numbers within our minds eye....you can feel and "hear" God within also..."no", "yes", "go", a persons name or a place, and other short sentences, or, when you pray, and have paper and pen handy, you can write down all the "impressions" you receive and look up scripture afterwards that is listed, or, follow the directions you were given, testing and seeking a word of knowledge and understanding.....all are available to us to use, as well as our "tongues" where the Spirit prays when we don't know how or what to pray FOR.....sometimes God gives a word of knowledge to someone FOR you, sometimes, He tells someone or impresses upon them that they should give or ask you something....but we must learn to test the Spirits often to make sure it IS of God and not something from an imposter....and yes....the more you receive and use the tools within the Bible, you WILL be a target more and more, lol... so tell me again, all of you whom think being a Believer is "easy".......you STILL think it "easy"? LOL when you get into warfare, it takes a lot of time and commitment, not to mention, trust, faith, love, etc.,.

Perhaps because the prisons are full of schizophrenic murderers that claimed god spoke to them.
On the other hand, talking to god does not tend to mean a person is murderously insane.

People talk to their dog but most don't claim their dog talks back. Of course Dogs exist and Gods don't but the principle is the same.
