The bible teaches that a person who hopes for his prayers to be heard by God must, at least, have faith that God exists and hears prayer.

(Mark 11:24) All the [godly] things you pray and ask for have faith that you have practically received, and you will have them.

But as a godly person grows in his understanding of God's requirements, so too does his responsibility to pray according to God's will. For example, only a person who has learned about Jesus will know that God wants those who pray to do so 'in the name of Jesus'.

(1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus

(John 14:6) Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

(John 16:19,23) Jesus knew they were wanting to question him, so he said to them: “...If you ask the Father for anything he will give it to you in my name.

While any person may hope for his own sincere personal prayers to be heard by God, a person who has a greater sense of what God requires would hardly depend on a person with an incorrect understanding to represent him in prayer. Especially where there is a real likelihood that another's spoken prayer would contradict one's understanding of the bible, it would be unreasonable for any Christian (such as a Jehovah's Witness) to seem to accept or even invite such a prayer.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach that only a family head ("believer" or not), or a baptized brother should generally be invited to offer a spoken prayer for his household or brothers (respectively). At times, a baptized sister can offer a public prayer on behalf of others as well.

(1 Corinthians 11:7,10,13-15) For a man ought not to have his head covered [while praying or teaching publicly]... Is it fitting for a woman to pray [publicly] uncovered to God?

While a Jehovah's Witness minister will not accept a non-Witness's offer to speak a prayer with him, such an offer would hardly move the Witness minister to end the conversation. Generally, a Witness will graciously accept a householder's offer to privately 'pray for you (or your work)', but the householder will not be given the impression that he represents the Witness during that prayer.

Jehovah's Witnesses are very prayerful in their meetings, so I don't understand why they would have a problem praying with those they witness to. Even though they do not believe in the Trinity doctrine, they do believe that prayers should be made to the Father through the Son ... much like Protestant prayer which often ends with "In Jesus's name".

the main easy yet well mannered answer is, it quite is the place the persons are. genuine followers of Jesus obey him whilst in Matthew, he supplies the command to coach and warn all and sundry of the earth related to God's Kingdom. maximum folk have certainly no theory what that government is. they have in no way been taught. Our subject is quite giving people 'precise wisdom of Bible reality", as a million Timothy 2:3-7 shows. we are no longer attempting to sell something. we don't earnings the two now or interior the destiny via spending time interior the ministry. As Paul pronounced, "we are no longer peddlers of the observe of God." (2Cor. 2:17) We in no way take up collections for our ministry in assessment to different religions with a paid clergy. basically as Jesus taught the 1st century Christians, we additionally flow from homestead to homestead, door to door, besides as different styles of witnessing. (Acts 5:40 two; 20:20) incredibly, as I pronounced, the place ever the persons are. each guy or woman could desire to artwork out their very own salvation. it is basically between themselves and God. No third events are of any use. Dragging somebody via headlock into salvation would not artwork the two. So we don't "score factors" via roping somebody or coaching them the two. We by way of learn have found what Bible reality is. watching worldwide circumstances tells every physique this can not final plenty longer if every physique is to proceed to exist. The Bible tells the thank you to be risk-free, to proceed to exist into God's promised new device the place mankind would be decrease back to the perfection we've been first meant to have. could you hold that a secret from others? out of your friends and associates? we don't. we furnish to coach freely.

Yes, but you have to pray out loud and ask God to forgive you for killing all those missionaries who came to your house and burying them in your crawl space and beg God to stop you before you listen to the voices and do it again. And be as graphic as possible about how the prior acts were committed.

That should get you on the "do not call" list.

These are good people, who are only doing what Jesus commands his followers to do,(Matthew 24:14) preach the good news about God's kingdom. If you are not interested then simply tell them that.

Tell them you worship Satan, they will leave immediately

Another thing is to tell them you used to be a JW and are now an apostate.

yes, i bet that WILL work - just be SURE to start it with "In the Name of the Father, and the Son,.... and so on"

JW's deny the concept of the trinity - and the divinity of Christ.
