WHAT????????????????????????????
I was brought up Catholic. Now, after 35+ years of intense study of the manuscripts, which I had to learn three languages to read, I find out that I was taught almost nothing in Church, Catholic School, and Sunday School. And what I WAS taught, was so far from Biblically accurate, that it made my hair stand on end. Now, I hear you saying to Catholics "because the child Jesus is not really revealed in Scripture...."
? My God, what are they teaching now??
He is prophecied over and over again in the Old Testament, and then His Birth, young life, and full teachings are disclosed in the New Testament. He could not have been more "revealed" unless he jumped out of the Bible and poked you on the darn nose.
Do you see where this false teaching has led you? Your next statement is a suggestion that "since that is so", hey, maybe us Christians could be him. Do you have any idea how blasphemous that is?
To suggest any man or woman is Christ?
Guess what: Christ is Christ, not you and not one of your Catholic Church leaders.
Lets talk about those "saints", shall we?
The word Saint means "set aside one", or also called in Scripture "Elect" or "Election".
This group of individuals stood firmly and loyally on the side of God during the war that Satan started over wanting the throne and position of Christ. When Satan was defeated, that loyal group was named "Elect" (or Saints if you prefer) and they were judged there and then. They are the only people alive on Earth today who do not have free will. They don't need it, they already made their decision and have shown God who they would follow, so they have no choice to make in this age. The reason they are alive is that when Antichrist comes pretending to be Jesus, these are the ones who are stated by Christ in Mark 13 that will be delivered up before Antichrist as a witness for the true Christ. This group fought Satan before, and they are "set aside" to do it again. No person, no church system, has the right to name a "saint"; they were already named long ago by God himself. It is an insult to add someone to Gods list, when they do not even fit the criteria to be on that list of "saints". Those pictures and statues of "Saints" are real pretty and all that, but just because someone painted or sculpted someone holding the Christ Child, does not mean anything. Have you even thought this question through? How could you think that Jesus Christ is not his own entity? Do you actually think God the Father would bestow on some fallible human being the postion of being the Word of the Living God? Have you ever read John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.?
Those people in churches who do the most service for the church do it because of their devotion to Christ and the Father, not because THEY ARE HIM.
It would serve you well to repent, and I say that without intention to offend, but because its a damn good idea.

I don't know. I always figured the greatest saints were holding the Child Jesus because they had the greatest faith - like that of little children.
So many of the great saints were devoted to the Child Jesus because of their tender hearts and their love for a Savior who would come to Earth in such a sweet and vulnerable form.

Experience has shown me that some of the most hardened sinners will open their hearts to the Child Jesus.
Some of our greatest saints were at one time some of the most hardened sinners.

What can you say about a child-yet wise men still seek him
Acts in the bible shows that those that believe in Jesus know him and he lives in them and it shows we are His hands extended.
Jesus said the kingdom of God shall be within you.
and the bible says we are called to be saints-no man makes people saints-when we recieve Jesus into our heart-we are a saint-the question is will we be worthy of the calling-
this is what helped me=Jesus in my heart is the home of choice--or else even in religion just make millions leading the blind astray for self glory-instead of giving Jesus all the glory
John 1:10 says we become the children of God by recieving Jesus into our heart to save us.
high on Jesus Christ from above-worked for me and keeps me the highest I have ever been and not for money or to lead the blind astray-amazing grace I once was blind but now I see=John 3 repented of my sins asked Jesus in and got born again=prayed=
"Jesus I am sorry for my sins come into my heart and help me, be my best friend, amen."
Revelation 3:19&20 "I Jesus love you and speak from heaven to let you know that I knock on your heart door to come in and be your friend, when you repent from sin (even one lie) and ask me in."
Worked for me and keeps me happiest ever in my life, the sweet pea praying for thee, and the highest high on earth and heaven too. lets us ask questions that say more about us then a garbage we throw away today even children.
have the best ever day!
