How does one define, "Home".

What makes a Home?

Can a person have more than one "Home".

It is my opinion that a home is where one finds refuge, where someone feels most comfortable, where someone feels like they belong.

What is home to you?

I think there is a fairly big gap between these two professions. While I do not find either of them particularly tasteful, I think I could strip for money if I needed it.

As for working as a prostitute that would be tougher. I may be able to do it, if I could convince myself I was acting a part, but even taking that into account, I would worry about safety. The outfits would be kind of cool and I am sure the money is good.

How can it be taken literally when the Council of Nicaea in 325 chose what texts would be used so as to create a uniform religion (and no, this isn't just a 'Dan Brown theory' but a historically documented event)? Also as it contains many major inconsistences as well as claiming the world is nowhere near as old as it actually is?

Why are so many people against Jack kevorkian? He is a compassonate man who helps people free themselves from a miserable and painful life. Those that are against him, should experience unbearable misery. Keep religion out of it. It is a human right to live or not. It is no ones business but the human who is suffering.
if you truly love someone who wants to die. and you truly respect his/her wishes . you should be happy for them to be able to die. do not be selfish and keep them alive so you do not have to feel bad. what do you think?

They only argument one ever hears about why psychics don't win the lottery (besides the obvious "because all psychics are frauds") is that, Oh, they're supposed to use their gift for a higher purpose and not for personal gain.

I can't think of a higher purpose than winning a 100 million dollar jackpot and donating it to charity. Can you?

I'm guessing I'm going to get a bunch of people stating the obvious (i.e., all psychics are frauds), and that's fine...I just wanted to see if anybody had an alternate answer...

Malachi 3:3 says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver."
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: "He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver."

i'm 16 and about a year ago or so i rededicated my life back to God after being lost without Him for about 5 years or so. recently i have been feeling down and emotionally unstable about me and certain things in my life. i also realized how negative i was towards a few things this past school year. i took it for granted. i feel guilt and regret knowing that i could have handled it better.

i know in these teen years, it is normal to feel angst but sometimes i can not handle it. i need guidance from God. i feel like i'm slipping and i don't want to fall back.

i'm asking on here because i find it so difficult to talk with my friends and family about this, no matter how close i am to them. it is even hard here for me to just write this. i just need someone who will listen and understand.

thank you so much. God bless.

How is it that they do not trust one another... One insider from Iraq told me that even sadam did not trust his own muslims but would rather trust the christians who worked in the government.

What would u say when we get there?

They are the ones who aren't paying their bills. I'm just doing my job tryin to make a living like everyone else. It seems like everyother call I make some one calls me a ***** a whore or something and they flip out on me like I am this evil person.
