The Koran commands muslims to "kill the infidels". They are required by their religion to kill anyone who doesn't agree with them.
They don't trusy one another: of course not. They know what's going through eachother's minds.
Saddam trusted Christians: That says alot about Christians. Even a psycho like Saddam can see the 'light of the world' in Christians. Our behavior inspires trust and confidence (this is all outlined in the Bible, just so ya' know).
Full of Death: Because it's all about killing and dying. "Kill infidels and die doing it" - that's Islam's highest goal. 'Allah' must be such a nice demon . . . oops I mean "deity", to require such of his followers.

No, Islam isn't violent and they do trust each other. Of course, no one is perfect, so there could be times when one can say that a Muslim man doesn't trust another Muslim. But that's not just Islam, it could be anyone, let it be Christian, Hindu, etc.
As for free will, of course there is free will but one should look at the Quran first and then do whatever he/she wants to do. Basically, what I mean is that one should never forget what God has told a person...then take your actions.

Christians have killed millions of people for the last 2000 years. People were killed for refusing to convert to Christianity, some because they were accused of being "witches" and others because they made scientific discoveries that were thought to contradict the Bible.
Most countries where the majority of people are Christian are fairly enlightened now, but Christianity has a very violent history, just like Islam.

Just so you know, the bible gives you instructions on how to deal with people who try and get you to leave Christianity as well. It also gives instructions on how to kill non-believers: Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT; 2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB. The list goes on but I want to keep this as short as I can.
If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)
I hope this helps you understand that most religions are fairly similar. It depends on who and how your (fill in the name of your religion) holy book is interpreted.
Note: I know this doesn't apply to ALL religions but it does apply to the big three and many smaller ones.
Magi2000: So your 'loving' god condones murder over tolerance and understanding? I don't understand how under ANY circumstance killing someone just because they have a different religion than you is a good (or loving) thing.

Saddam trust Christians more than Muslim? Wow, what a surprise. That really explains his tyranny, massacre of thousands of Shia and Kurds as well as invasion of Kuwait. Why else he killed thousands of his fellow Muslims if not because of his Christian advisors? Thanks for the fact.
Hmmm...maybe Osama ben Laden is under Christian influence as well. That's why most of Al-Qaeda bombings happen in Muslim countries. Should check on this.
Peace for all.

Islam is about 1300 years old now.
Look at what Christianity was like in the 1300s
Just a aggressive, just as violent. same laws saying restricting non-Christians.
After the reformation you had Christians killing and torturing Christians because they did not worship Jesus in the right way. How FUBAR is that? (I know, about the same as the Sunni and Shea.)

That applies to nearly all religions. As a matter of fact, don't blame just religion, blame human stupidity.

How come Christians don't 'do onto others'?
You and your source are messed up.
Saddam however was probably a bit paranoid --most dictators are. But I think it was more of a 'tribe/clan' thing with him. He trusted those from his own ppl.

There are several passages in the Qur'an which can be, and often are, cited as reason for violence against non-Muslims.
