In answer to your first question, your age should not be a factor, its your health that matters. But as far as number, well you shouldn't have so many that you feel burdened.

As for your second question, families, especially big ones, need as many breaks as the government can give. Not the government or anyone else should be allowed to penalize or cut off someone because they have more than societies 2.3 kids.

At the age when they are both settled in their careers, have a home and are healthy.
The number of children doesn't matter as long as they can devote the time and resources to keep the children happy, safe and healthy.
Limiting a tax credit for the number of children would be as ignorant as walking into a family of six and saying, "You have too many children" Okay, what would you suggest? Send two or more to the pound? How do you pick which child? Send away the oldest or the youngest?
Nobody ever got rich off the tax credit. It doesn't need restriction.

I would say when a couple reach 40 years of age but have you've heard recently that a 60 something year old woman gave birth to a child? I think that is way to old to have a child. When that child is 18, she's going to be in her 70's close to 80's and when the child is in her 30's, she's going to be well do I have to say it?

Families should not have more children than their parents can care for. More children requires more time, health insurance, educational investment, etc.

Responsibility comes first. I don't think that there is one appropriate number for everyone.

They can have as many kids as they want but the government should not have to pay for their personal decision to have kids. If they wanna keep on popping them out that is fine, but it is there responsibility to provide for the children. I would say after the women is into her 40's it is definitley time to stop having kids.

When they have as many kids as they want. As lon as they are caring for them and are good parents. I can think of a few people who should be legally forced to be sterilized.

1) 36, it starts to get dangerous for the woman. If the guy is older, that's fine.

2) I'd say limit at 5. Most don't get that high if they have any shred of sanity.
