How about an unwanted pregnancy?
I've heard there are certain elements of fundamentalist christianity that are opposed to birth control because they WANT people to be punished for having pre-marital sex.

If you are an Atheists, do you believe that all other atheists are smart and educated and all Christians are dumb and uneducated? (I have seen this exact view on here)

Also if you are a Christian, do you believe just because someone else is a Christian they are always "right"? and Atheists are automatically wrong? regardless of the question?

I've been to church since i can remember, but it seems like nothing stuck with me. Now, i find it almost pointless going to church, and i only visit so rare. One sunday, i decided not to go to church, and the night before i had a dream. I dreamed that the rapture came, and everyone from my family was gone except me. The dream seemed so real, and i also had another dream like this one when i was small. Because i was soo spooked out, i actually went to church that sunday- but still, nothing stuck with me. Do i have a problem? Does God exist- i can't feel his presence.....???Am i going to hell or heaven?

First, thanks a lot. I truly appreciate you're all taking the time and effort to try and tell your particular version of a god, that it has to save me from going to your particular version of the bad half of afterlife.

I don't believe in either, but if you truly want to tell your invented being that you don't want me to go to your invented afterlife, I highly appreciate the effort. Thanks.

I'm curious though. I'm born and raised as an atheist. I have never seen prayer, nor do I have a clue how it works.

How much time do you invest in me? What sorts of things do you tell your version of a god? Do you include my full name, or just my screen name? Where do you pray? Is a ritual involved? Do you make lists of all the Y!A atheists, and name them in one prayer? Or do you say a prayer for every single person?

Can you give me an example of how you do it?

Does not make sense. Could it be because Moses was written about first and Hammurabi was discovered later and now they don't won't to back up on the issue? And now they call it Hammurabi's Code. That stinks but it is so typical of religions to change stuff around to suit their BS stories.

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

O ye people! Fear your Lord who created you from a single soul and of its kind created its mate, and from them twain spread many men and women; and fear God, in Whose name you appeal to one another, and fear him particularly respecting ties of kinship. Verily, God watches over you.

And whoso commits a sin, it is only against his own soul. And God is All-Knowing, Wise.

And whoso does evil or wrongs his soul, and then asks forgiveness of God, will find God Most Forgiving, Merciful.

Einstein: "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding".
Plato: "no ordinance or law is mightier than understanding".
Solomon: "with all thy getting, get understanding" = grace.
Apostle Paul: The grace of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

Please read everything before answering.

If God is all around us and is everywhere, then God must be in the good, as well as the bad and the ugly events all around us. God is in all people, whether they are good citizens or criminals.

Also God would also be in hell as well. How could God be everywhere if God isn't here. If you say God chooses not to be, then it doesn't matter because it contradicts the ability for God to be everywhere. By definition, if God isn't in hell God isn't an omniscient and all powerful being.

I was wondering if anyone had read Christopher Hitchins' new book God Is Not Great:

If so is it a good read and on a par with Richard Dawkins' excellent book The God Delusion?

Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Kingdom, and He has power over all things;

Who has created death and life that He might try you -which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving ;

Who has created seven heavens in harmony. No incongruity canst thou see in the creation of the Gracious God. Then look again. Seest thou any flaw?

Aye, look again, and yet again, thy sight will only return unto thee confused and fatigued, having seen no incongruity.

I stay in Johannesburg South Africa. And wouldn’t live anywhere else. The fast pace and great people that call it home. One of the richest and most powerful city’s on the continent. Not without its problems, I have to say. A truly cosmopolitan city that offers its inhabitance a living experience that you won’t find anywhere in Africa.

All they say if I don't know or go to Wikipedia or Google or they leave a bunch of links. I was hoping to gain some insight into those different religions but I see that won't be the case. Is it that people don't care to interact with other people? Are the points worth gold or something that people just answer anyway that they want to answer just for a couple of points? I asked two questions on here so far about Satanism and Lucfierianism and about Taoism , Shintoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Confucianism and so far I don't have anything that I feel is worth picking a best answer. I think I'm gonna leave here now as you people are depressing me.
