I sincerely want to ask my brothers and sisters in this great religion to stand with me in condemning terrorism of all forms, not just the islamic kind, but also the kind online. Where predators target women and attempt to terrorize them by doing illegal activities. Also the kind where a male uses his physical strength to terrorize a woman into "obeying" him. The kind that forces an abused child to listen to a battering parent out of fear. ALL kinds. Who will stand up against all of them from all walks of life, and loudly say "We do not support you. We are against you. We will not allow you to continue this?"

christianity is very similar to Buddhism, and jesus and Buddha were 2 great teachers of compassion that can never be compared to any other religious leader.

Is it true that sometimes a white person will be treated rudely by a black cashier at a fast food restaurant and not complain about it because they feel that blacks have a right to be that way? Is it true that sometimes, if a black co-worker raises his voice to a white person, the white person will let it go since he believes that black people have a right to be angry? Is it true that there have been times when black people have threatened white people with violence and the white person did not report the incident since he thought that black people have been treated so unfairly in the past that they should be given some leeway? What is the name of this phenomenon, if it exists? Is there a related phenomenon called "white guilt"? Is it true that some white people feel guilty for past wrongs committed against blacks? Do they fear that black people might ge angry and give them leeway as a result?

a fellow member of the congregation caught the holy ghost last sunday in church. the deacon accidently lost his grip on her which caused her to fall and hit her head on the pew. at first she said she was alright, but later that night she said she was going to the hospital and she may sue the church.

who is responsible in this situation: the holy ghost or the church. the church didn't tell her to get the holy ghost. she got it of her own free will.

praise and glory!!

when a doctor believes that his patient will live or die , believes so only because its based on the available medical knowledge and is a practical way to look at things.

But when someone has faith in a God and believes that he or she will pull through an illness due to faith does so with no logical proof to back it up what so ever.

Dont you think that faith without any hint of proof based on logic makes no sense at all?

Someone just asked this, and then -- very strangely! -- deleted his question! But it was a VALID question, and I've often seen it asked in other contexys than this forum. My answer to him would have been that -- even though I'm pretty biblically-literate, I've never seen a passage that condemns it. So it this point, I'm re-asking his question: Does anyone know if their IS such a passage? And if so, can you cite it?

In Islam the term is called "sunnat" - meaning acts or habits that were carried out by Muhammed. These habits of Muhammed were loved by God.

eg. Muhammed wore a fragrance and dressed to his best especially on Fridays. This is a "SUNNAT" that muslims follow.

Do christians do the same for Jesus?

And most of us, for the most part, tries to avoid jehovah witness whenever they come knocking on our doors, well, why is God refered to jehovah in some of the churches??

Assuming 100% that Genesis is Words of God and God of Genesis exist.

Why didn't God create all the animals ( clean animals ) after the Flood , as He was Omnipotent God ?

It would have save a lot of time, space, and Dino may still exist.

Please don't ask me to read Bible again. It's just in front of me with Karen Armstrong's "In The Beginning" book.

If I were wrong , please correct me by pointing out ( of course , you need to support your own argument )

Need you to clarify your answer for me to one of the other people's questions.....you wrote....

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and the sexually immoral" (Hebrews 13:4, NIV).

"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4, KJV).

So when God impregnated a woman so in effect raped her and coddled another mans woman this was okay???????

PEOPLE YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT............there is a USER on here calling himself Baby Jesus...the question was for HIM!!!!!
