Do you feel that the “Old Testament” that Jesus was a teacher of, should be honored and respected as the True Word of God?

Most people say they read it for fun, but don't believe it. I'm sure it happens when we don't agree with what's written, lol. Are you one of those?

If you do believe in it, what do you base your belief on? (I don't think I've ever met someone who TRULY believes it. If you do, please speak up!)

If I don't believe in the Christian God, and go about my life and enjoy it to the fullest (which involves morality of course), I will die and end up with my husband and best friends whether this God is real or not since they aren't Christian's either.

If I do believe in the Christian God and it is false, I have wasted my life feeling guilty for "sinning" and worrying about my best friends and husband going to Hell. If I was a Christian and that God was real, I will go to a place in the clouds where I will forget these wonderful people ever existed (which leaves my soul blank and not me anymore really since my experiences with them make me ME) and I will be seperated from them for eternity.

What have I got to lose?

I doesn't seem like most fruits. It's not juicy or anything. I dont think i can think of any other fruits which are mushy but not juicy like the BANANA.
The BANANA, it's an enigma to me.

Why did God put BANANA under the fruits category. I doesn't seem like one.

(see how i subtly put in the word God in the question. Now you uptight religious folks cant complain that this question is in the wrong category)

I recently found out that by 2100, and maybe as early as 2073 according to more recent figures, white Britons will become a minority in their own homeland. Upon further research, I discovered that this is not only restricted to Britain but is something which all white nations will be facing in the coming century. White Americans, for example, will constitute 50% of the total US population by 2040 and only 25% by 2090!

In view of this, can multiculturalism be morally justified? Shouldn't all races/nationalities have a right to a homeland? I am puzzled as to why is this a problem which only white nations and all white nations are facing? I would appreciate any explanations, but if you are going to cry racism, please refrain from posting.

Thank you.

It's a sin to kill youself right? But is that fair for people with depression. Depression is not fun, I know from experience, I just felt like crying all the time and like I had nothing to live for and I thought about killing myself a lot. Luckily I'm better now. But yeah anyway, I mean with depressed people should they be blamed for killing themselves when its not really their fault. Would God not forgive them?

My friend who is an extremely devoted Christian is worried about me. She keeps bringing up in nearly every conversation that she's sad for me because I'm her friend and she doesn't want me to suffer eternity in Hell. I know that she only cares for my well-being, but no matter what I say, she's only sad that when I finally found religion it was Wicca, a pagan religion and "It's hard to get that stuff out of people once they start it" (quote by her). I keep telling her that I'm going exactly where I want to go, and that if the Christian God DOES exist and I DO go to Hell, I would rather suffer an eternity for my own beliefs than follow something I can't believe in. Any advice on how I should handle this? It's bothering me that its bothering her so much, and its getting annoying. I'm happy now; why can't she be?

This is a win, win, win, win, win solution.

First Win. Take recycling to a higher level, recycling a wider verity of resources. Many people throw products they want to see recycled away, but currently we cannot accomidate these products so we bury them. An expanded recycling industry would be created.

Second Win. Less waste to dispose of and if sorted further could be recycled in the ground more effectively

Third Win. Prisoners will be productive. Adding to society and paying back their debt.

Fourth Win. The money generated by their efforts will help pay for their incarceration, thereby decreasing an ever increasing amount to incarcerate.

Fifth Win. Potential criminals might further be detered if they knew they would have to be trash sorters.

Why do people want to believe they are sinning by doing things that don't hurt others, like masturbating, or smoking pot, or having protected pre-marital sex? If it isn't hurting anyone, and only provides pleasure, why would anyone feel guilty about these things?

But many do!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resurrection_Mary

Resurrection Mary" is the best-known ghost story in the Chicago area.

According to the legend, a young Polish girl (between 17 and 22) was killed in a car crash in the early 1930s and buried in Resurrection Cemetery. Her death occurred on the way back from a dance at the nearby O'Henry Ballroom (now called the Willowbrook Ballroom).

She is now encountered as a "Vanishing Hitchhiker". Several people have reported picking her up as a hitchhiker, taking her to or from the ballroom. As the car passes Resurrection, she usually vanishes. She is described as looking like a living person, speaking very little, wearing a 1930's ball gown. Sometimes her flesh is cool to the touch.

Once on Halloween they had a talk show on the radio and the subject was ghosts in Chicago. As I was listening this Chicago cabby called up and he told a story where he picked her( Ressurection Mary) up. When he looked in his mirror, she was gone.
