All should be respected, for Jesus came not to take away from the law but to fulfill it. And note the law is the Ten Commandments that we all should keep. The Ten Commandments was manifest in the old testament and when i read the old testament it testify of the new testament and and when i read the new testament it also testify of the old testament. "THERE IS NO CONTRADICTION IN THE HOLY WORD OF GOD" for God s word is true....

absolutely- Jesus himself said that not one jot or tittle would be removed- He did not come to take away the law and the law was NEVER ever meant to save. The NT is pretty much a commentary on the OT.
People have been taught that Jesus fulfilled the law, mistaking it to mean that he removed it, made it void or non applicable. I do nto believe this- He fulfilled it or perfected it- Jesus IS the word, the law and He walked it perfectly- He showed us how to walk it in the spirit and not in the flesh. We obey because we are saved and not in order to be saved. I believe that God's instruction has everything to do with His order , the way He created the universe. We want to see God's power, His miracles and we desire to claim the blessings but at the same time we want to reject more than 1/2 of His words and commands- it does not work that way, God is a God of order and operates according to His word.
Jesus obeyed Torah perfectly- how can we follow Jesus if we refuse to walk the way He walked??

I once heard that the old testament teaches Jesus concealed while the new testament is Jesus revealed.
Yes I believe that both are the true word of God.

The Old Testament is just as much the Bible as the new. It is filled with prophecies about Christ (which he fulfilled) and there are many prophecies yet to be.
You can't have the complete picture without both testaments. I value both and read through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation on a continuing basis.

Since Jesus Himself taught from the Old Testament frequently, then, to me, that was an affirmation of what I already believed....

"ABSOLUTELY!!!" However, I believe the person your referring to is actually named YAHSHUA MESSIAH, SON OF OUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER YAHWEH!!! YAHWEH'S WAYS ARE THE WAYS OF PEACE, LOVE, CARING, & UNDERSTANDING!!!! HIS LAWS ARE PERFECT, EFFECTIVE FOR CONVERTING THE SOUL!!! Yes, YAHSHUA taught & lived by the LAWS OF PEACE!!! HE knew that only by living by the LAWS OF YAHWEH can a person ever have Salvation!!! YAHSHUA HIMSELF BECAME CONVERTED BY OBEYING YAHWEH'S LAWS PERFECTLY, THUS BEING BERGOTTEN OF YAHWEH AS HIS FIRST BORN SON OF THE RESURRECTION! WHO WAS CHOSEN BY YAHWEH TO BE RISEN FROM THE GRAVE TO STAND AT YAHWEH'S RIGHT HAND IN THE OFFICE OF HIGH PRIEST OVER THE HOUSE OF YAHWEH!!! Today's christianity has nothing to do what so ever with the life of the faith that YAHSHUA and HIS disciples lived. They all OBEYED YAHWEH'S LAWS, and were each killed as result of it!!! Todays churches teach a form of holiness, yet they deny the power of it, choosing to follow the traditions of men rather than the PURE WORD OF YAHWEH!!! YES!!! THE TORAH,(THE LAW, THE O.T.) SHOULD BE HONORED & RESPECTED AS THE TRUE WORD OF YAHWEH!!! QUESTIONS? ASK AT ABEL, 325-670-9494. & THAT WILL SETTLE THE MATTER!!
