So when God impregnated a woman so in effect raped her and coddled another mans woman this was okay???????
PEOPLE YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT............there is a USER on here calling himself Baby Jesus...the question was for HIM!!!!!

Thank you for your imput but it still poses the question did he ask Joseph if this was ok? And as I said it WAS meant for the USER calling himself Baby Jesus.

Religious people prefer to be ignorant of trivia like this, that is why they follow it blindly. The bible is full of contradictions that are carefully worded to glaze over the imperfections. Technically, Mary was pregnant before she got married, but by Joseph, not an entity that doesn't exist. In aramaic, there was no word for unmarried mother because it was a sin, she was later called a virgin to mean the same thing, an unmarried mother. Just image, you come home from a hard day on the fields and your girlfriend tells you she let some ghostly stranger have his wicked way with her - was Joseph REALLY that gullible??

My personal opinion is that this is how the whole 'Jesus - Son of God' myth started.
I think Mary was having an affair and got pregnant, but then Joseph says 'but we haven't had sex! how can you be pregnant?! You must be having an affair!' and gets into a fit of blind rage....
Mary, to cover her wicked adulterous ways, thinks on her feet and says '...erm...it was...erm...no..its..God's baby! yes...thats right...God's baby...'

Is this a joke ? An angel informed Marry that she will give birth to this child/Jesus...if she didn't want to, she could have said so !

God doesn't rape people. God blessed Mary with a child which was Jesus Christ.
We're all God's creations and He does with us what he wants and it is all just.
