It's really the woman's fault for letting herself scammed by religion-fiction. Besides, ghosts don't exist... No one can ask the Holy Spirit in and out of them at will. Check your Bible, did Jesus Christ go into a frantic trance or had spasms when He was baptized and the Holy Ghost came down to Him?
I don't think God would have His Ghost or heavenly hosts beat a person or knock him/her down for sanctity...
NO. There's no biblical support to that Evangelical Pentecost belief...
The Lord reprimand all false prophets and churches!

What do you mean she "caught" the Holy Ghost? Well if she was truely a Holy Ghost filled individual, she would take her lumbs and move on. However, there are those who puts on a Holy Ghost show. If thats the case. Thats a horse of a different color.
If the Holy Ghost was "truely" involved, I cant see sueing the church. Would that not be like filing a law suite against God?

Well first of all, I am so glad to hear that you guys move in the Holy Ghost. Its refreshing. Really its for the lady to decide how she will pursue this, if she takes it to the lawcourts, then let them decide. I mean let God be God and dont worry about the outcome, I mean it. This is more common than you would believe.
However, it is normally the case when one goes out in the Holy Spirit to feel no pain at all, even if you do hit your head.
I guess wisdom would say, next time make a space around the people if they are going to receive the Holy Spirit and if they might fall, or have an usher stand behind them. I know sometimes its unexpected though.
In conclusion, really, dont worry let God sort out this one, dont be afraid of what might happen or what could happen, God is actually in control of this one!
May you continue to have more of the Holy Spirit fall in your place!

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
The Holy Spirit of God doesn't cause a person to fall and injure them self.
2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Her threat to sue the church confirms that she was not being controlled by the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:1 When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? 2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! 4 So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? 5 I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, 6 but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? 7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?

Hysteria. The Spirit does not knock people over. When the Spirit comes into a person they hear/feel a presence in their thinking that was not there before and have thoughts that seem to be outside their experience. The still(no physical sound) small(not overwhelming) voice (thought) that to the person recieving it is from an outside source but within themselves.
The Spirit speaks(enters the soul) by invitation only.

No, (as far as i understand) I even have considered the Holy Ghost named that and Holy Spirit. distinctive variations of the bible will reference this as the two. yet as with every religious subject rely, it truly is open to interpretation.

How was the deacon gripping her?
She could have case for assault.
Alternatively she could sue the manufacturer of the pew for making it in the first place

Well, the church atmosphere must have caused it so she should sue the church.
Plus the Deacon was negligent.
