Yes, amish shop at Walmart in our area. Their horse and buggies are there in the parking lot along with the cars.

"Omish"??? Do you mean "Amish"? If so, there are several different orders of Amish, some less strict than others. I imagine some of the so-called "New Order" Amish might shop at Wal Mart. Almost all of the Amish people are of Swiss-German ancestry, and since they marry almost exclusively within their own community, that remains true down through the generations.

Well, for one, it's spelled 'Amish.' [( I live VERY close to them! =P )]
And while sometimes the Amish shop at Wal-Mart, you tend to see more Mennonites there instead.
[( Mennonites are basically a less strict type of Amish. )]
Those are the nicest, most content, hard-working people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. =)

Never heard of Omish, but the Amish don't utilize any technology. They are very insistent upon only using items that they have created themselves.
