Does it surprise you to know he is a heretic and is going against Islam? How do you feel about the following quote? And if you read the link, how did it make you feel?

"Certainly, neither bin Laden nor his principal associate, Ayman al-Zawahiri, are graduates of Islamic universities or seminaries. And so their proclamations ignore 14 centuries of Muslim scholarship, and instead take the form of lists of anti-American grievances and of Koranic quotations referring to early Muslim wars against Arab idolators. These are followed by the conclusion that all Americans, civilian and military, are to be wiped off the face of the Earth.

All this amounts to an odd and extreme violation of the normal methods of Islamic scholarship. Had the authors of such fatwas [non-binding legal opinions] followed the norms of their religion, they would have had to acknowledge that no school of traditional Islam allows the targeting of civilians.

Doesn't this story imply Naturalist and/or Humanist philosophy? Clearly, Jesus spoke to the tree, expecting a response. Then he punishes the tree when there is no fruit the next day? Why is this story in the Gospels?

And...if, as some believe, the Church used an eraser on some of the scriptures over the years, why didn't they hit the delete key on this one?

For all my friends on seniors: Please check out this place on your PC. I was doing some research last night (due to some reading) and stumbled onto this. In a earlier question I used it as a comparision to seniors living in a nursing home: forgotten, hardly looked after, their histories buried, and no ideas what to do about them in the long run.
This place and its problem(s) is still going on today, any suggestions?

Am I the only person who doesn't blare out loud music?
Am I the only person who smiles at people anymore?
Am I the only person who actually talks to people instead of wearing an i-pod everywhere?
What about you? Do you still talk to your fellow man? or do you just plug into something else while you're out?

If Jesus was God, why did he tell the man who called him "good master" not to call him "good" because accordingly, there is none good but his God in Heaven alone?

But there are some people who are quite happy to live life alone and happily! I hate it more when it's a special holiday time! Okay so Valentine's is for lovers, but do all the other one's have to be all couples?
People who live alone can be happy 2 what do you think?

as in, the questions not intended to be offensive ( like the obvious trolls) but the ones that have no connection to LGBT, ones that make you think" what on earth made them put this question there?"

especially the ones that say "yahoo put it here" when you choose what category to put the question in ANYWAY!

do people compare them similar to the trolling? or is it just a nuisance? it seems like 60% of the questions nowadays are either unrelated, trolling, or pure nonsense.

ERICA RODRIGUEZ, now 23, was 4 years old when her Eastern Washington church leader, Manuel Beliz, began abusing her...

When a teenage girl asked her bishop to stop her stepfather's sexual attacks, the church in Federal Way allegedly refused to help or call police...

Jeremiah Scott was in grade school when he was first molested by Franklin Curtis, an elderly man placed in his home by a Portland church despite allegations that he was a pedophile.

None of the above is Roman Catholic.

"It's not just the Catholic Church in crisis," says attorney Timothy Kosnoff, who represents the aforementioned claimants in their lawsuits—Rodriguez's is against the Brooklyn-based Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc. (Jehovah's Witnesses) and both Jane Doe's and Scott's are against the Salt Lake City- based Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)."
