Ever heard of Centralia, PA?

For all my friends on seniors: Please check out this place on your PC. I was doing some research last night (due to some reading) and stumbled onto this. In a earlier question I used it as a comparision to seniors living in a nursing home: forgotten, hardly looked after, their histories buried, and no ideas what to do about them in the long run.
This place and its problem(s) is still going on today, any suggestions?

Yes, actually I have. It was mentioned on the Discovery Channel. See the link I have provided below to the documentary.
