I have no sympathy for child molesters -- They show no mercy, so they should recieve none in return.
Child molesters can not be rehabiltated -- I am against death penalty, and I support the ideal of a life sentence for repeat offenders.

Personal opinion -- they are extremely ill and need treatment. It has been shown however that treatment does not work. 99.7 percent return to their orginial behavior. The state of Florida is attempting to pass a law that would execute molesters of children under the age of 12. My question is with this all why age 12? Why not 13 or 14 or 15? (I exclude 16 and up because most states allow for emancipation at 16, hence assuming they have mental capacity to make those decisions.)
Do not, however, confuse the idea that gay, les, bi or trans people commit these crimes as a group. The statistics show that 98% of all childmolesters are hetrosexual and 62% of the time are a family member or close friend of the family. Obduction makes up less than 1% of all child molestation; the balance are casual stalkers and or opportunistic actions.
What is very much misunderstood is that more than 80% of molesters had been molested as children under 12 themselves. Psychogolists believe that the trauma of the molestation permentally changes the way a person thinks as it becomes an ingrained part of the learning during childhood. If it is of long duration, multiple contacts, it then becomes an ingrained and an acceptable activity. Hence, those molested as a child becomes the molester as an adult.

Why would you be asking this question to this group. MOST child molesters are straight white males in the 40's or straight family members of the victims.

I think child molesters should have their 'thingy' cut off. It doesn't matter if you're straight, gay or whatever, sex with a child is unacceptable! I've worked with kids who were molested at a young age and it really messes up their whole life.

I hope you are not implying that glb&t are the major problem when it comes to child molesters? White males in their 30-40 and straight are tyhe major offenders. Check out the stats.
So, assuming, you are not implying that, I will answer your question.
I would like to put their balls on my christmas tree along with a few othe types as well.

I think that they are sick, sad, dangerous people who should be removed from society. Sadly, we have no treatment modality with any level of success. The only rational thing is to separate them for life, and work like heck to make sure that little kids don't grow up into becoming future perpetrators.

I think all child molesters should be killed for what they do, often they not only rape these poor kids but kill them too. There is nothing more sick and insane than a child molester.

I think that they are really messed up in the head and that they should stay away from kids. And that also that people shouldn't try to identify them as gays. Makes us look bad.

I think they're awful. I also think its awful that in some states its basically legal if they are of the opposite sex and get married to their victims.
