If Jesus was God, why did he tell the man who called him "good master" not to call him "good" because accordingly, there is none good but his God in Heaven alone?

Islam says Jesus is a mighty messenger of God

-thats great if he teaches us by example and showing divinity is not important than why do we have to consider him as divine when he says "My Father is greater then I" ?

If He is not God, why did He declare Himself as God?

... And why did He rise from the dead?

Well, he did say only the father knows the time of his second coming. Do you recall if Jesus asked the man not to call him good before or after his death and resurrection? It may be significant.

Have any of you any idea that although some believe "The Da Vinci Code" provides proof Jesus wasn't God, there is proof evolution is fake. Somewhere in the middle east there is a big wall of a dragon drawn by the Samerians named Draco, the creater of the universe, take a good look at it. It is a brontosaurus, a dinosaur! The wall is proof humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time. It is a threat to the very foundation of science following Darwin. Guess what what this means, the Church is right and Jesus is God.

On a forum somewhere on the net, I learned some people out there think the Church denied things certain things like electricity. The ancient Turks and Egyptians, yeah, the Church, there is no evidence the Church ever knew about electricity. If the early Church knew about something, they would have told the world. As for the books left out of the bible, they were meant to be absent for many years.

Don't get me wrong, I believe we must die and go to Heaven in order to learn the truth, the whole truth that is. I even believe all those old stories from other cultures that are somewhat identical to stories found in the bible, well the people who wrote them down heard them from the Hebrew. Who knows, perhaps the Greeks heard of Goliath and named his race the Titans and maybe they named Samson Hercules.

Jesus said the Father was greater than He not because Jesus is not God, but because Jesus was also a man and as a man he was in a lower position. He was ". . . made for a little while lower than the angels . . ." (Heb. 2:9). Also in Phil. 2:5-8, it says that Jesus "emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men . . ."
Jesus has two natures. Jesus was not denying that He was God. He was merely acknowledging the fact that He was also a man. Jesus is both God and man. As a man, he was in a lesser position than the Father. He had added to Himself human nature (Col. 2:9). He became a man to die for people.

Jesus is a master like Buddha, Zarathustra, Krsna, send by the Light (God) to bring spiritual evolution on this planet. He is son of God as all of us. The point is that he knew it and we don't know it yet. God is pure Spirit that vitalizes the entire Universe.
We may contact God Light by closing the eyes and place the mind in Theta frequency. Jesus said: Ask the Father for anything you need, because He loves all of us. Use the thought to contact Him. The thought is the master key to open that door.

In the beginning was Thought and then the Word................

If God does not exist, nothing would exist. God is pure Spirit and you cannot see Him, but you may feel Him and hear Him.
It is like the voice..... you can hear it but you cannot see it.
And if you don't hear the voice is only because you are deaf.

Jesus..the son of "God" or just some bloke who was a moral teacher?

It's interesting that in the Bible even Jesus made some racist comments... which sort of suggests that he wasn't some earth bound deity but just a man..

The fact that all prophets believe they are "chosen" or "special" and there is always a "chosen" city (eg Jerusalem) should be enough to convince that all Abrahamic religions are man made. Because if the "god" they describe was half the man they say he is, he would see the whole Earth as special, he would not differentiate between race - which he clearly does in the Bible - and he certainly would commit infanticide which again, he does in the Bible

Basically if you accept the Bible as anything other than a Zeitgeist then you surely are deluding yourself, and in my opinion a little bit twisted because the Bible is full of murder, hate, racism, bullying, bigotry and just sickening out of date notions which have no right to be touted as a moral compass for todays society.

In answer to you question, no..

Because Jesus was teaching us by "example." Sometimes the lesson was more important than stating his divinity.

In my opinion, jesus is the same as God. They have the same power and are both equal. This is known as the holy trinity. "The father, and the son, and the holy spirit".

I dont know if this helps you to understand, but God is not any mightier than Jesus or the other way round. They are all part of the same spirit, and apparantly God looks like Jesus. (I read that somewhere also i can not be certain).

Because Paul of Tarsus falsely told all christians to believe this literally.

Unfortunately, few christians have ever heard that the official title "Son of God" was reserved in the ancient world before 500 BCE exclusively to Egyptian Pharaohs.

Nor have christians usually heard that the title "Son of God" was used by Alexander the Great upon conquering Egypt and claiming right to be Pharaoh. That the Roman Emperors from Augustus for over a hundred years also claimed the title of "Son of God" for themselves and even had it minted on coins across the entire Roman Empire
See:

Nor are Christians familiar with the tale that Moses, was not Moses at all but Pharaoh Akhenaten and that the descendents of the High Priests that called themselves the "Sons of Zadok" were the true bloodline heirs of the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Yet in the Israel Museum is the Copper Scroll, one of the most sacred and important surving artefacts from Qumran (Dead Sea Scoll) onwhich is written in Greek the cryptic message "Akhenaten is also Zadok".
http://one-faith-of-god.org/old_testament/sources/copper_scroll/copper_scroll_0010.htm

Mary was Essene and a "Daughter of Zadok" the bloodline of the High Priests and therefore the true "Sons of God".

But if Jesus was to use such a title in direct challenge to the Sadducees and Pharisees of his day, this would be a challenge of epic proportions.

+++What would Jesus say?+++

Jesus founded the Nazarenes also known as the gnostics.

The Vatican has known for almost 2000 years that it was Paul of Tarsus, not Jesus who founded christianity.

+ The Christian Church has never been the legitimate body representing Jesus. It is an imposter, a fraud.

+ Jesus would hope that people read his words and no other imposters (especially Paul) and treat each other with respect. And stop following people who do evil in the name of God.

After all, that has always been the main message.

Simple honest logic. Jesus is a god, in that, he has power. He is not the Most High God, big G.

Jesus did say properly, "My Father is greater than I." He also said they were "one" in agreement. Earthly fathers and sons, though seperate people are also one in agreement.

Jesus didn't say, 'don't call me good,' He said,' why do you call me good?' Maybe he wanted the man to confess or understand what was obvious, that Jesus is God.
