All they say if I don't know or go to Wikipedia or Google or they leave a bunch of links. I was hoping to gain some insight into those different religions but I see that won't be the case. Is it that people don't care to interact with other people? Are the points worth gold or something that people just answer anyway that they want to answer just for a couple of points? I asked two questions on here so far about Satanism and Lucfierianism and about Taoism , Shintoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Confucianism and so far I don't have anything that I feel is worth picking a best answer. I think I'm gonna leave here now as you people are depressing me.

I think it's mostly that people are completely ignorant (for the most part) about any other religion besides christianity on here.
Satanism - 'atheism' that for some reason feels the need to throw in a christian anti-deity
Taoism - I don't know enough about it to give you a good definition.
Shintoism - Again, I don't know much, but from what I understand it has to do with respect for the natural world and ancestors.
Hinduism - A polytheistic Indian religion which has had more of an effect on christianity than most people realize.
Buddhism - An 'atheistic' 'religion' that centers on the idea that the human mind is just an illusion and that the ultimate goal, enlightenment, can be reached by separating yourself from all desires.
Jainism - What I know about Jainism is that they do not believe in a deity but have so much respect for all life that they refuse to kill anything. (Including insects, micro-organisms)
Confucianism - Based on the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius who might not have existed.
Well, I tried, that's just a line or two of the top of my head. I should probably look into some of these more myself.

You will find very few interesting people on yahoo answers.
Because normally interesting people with interesting answers are out living interesting lives, and not on yahoo answers answering a tweety fan's questions that are far more a statements then questions to began with.
The few that can actually pertain to your questions are probably not interesting people, and even more so you will find that even less will be able to pertain to subjects of those matters, which you listed.
For a fact I know there are some genuine intelligible geniuses on here, they might just be on at a different time then you.
And for some of those dumb air heads, yes, points are gold.
I am more concerned with the advice/opinion I leave behind.
Have a nice day,
Juefawn.

I would imagine in varies wildly. Some are would be George Carlin or Bill Maher types who think they are too funny to hold silent. Some are just immature irreverent hedonist(that is really close to the first classification but there is a subtle difference I think) Some have an ax to grind. Some are looking for the truth. And many are combinations of these reasons and more. That's my humble opinion. Hope it helps.

Some people care about the topics,, some people just want points.. some people just want something to do, so they sit on here answering questions all day.. it depends totally on the person who gives the answer. Also, if there is a lot of info, then it is easier to post a link, because people get a more detailed answer.

I often don't bother asking questions here and have found it is much better to research things on my own. If you like the interaction of different perspectives, just try doing a search on this site. It's likely that someone else has already asked your questions and folks have already answered. You get alot more answers this way than when posting your own separate question.

hey! you want answers? I'll meet with you to show you your answers.

historical answers to what you want to know can easily be found in the net if you dont have the means to buy specific books.

but if you're looking for answers from a person who have lived the life of a certain religion you'd best gear up and go to worship places or churches (whatever they are called) and observe. I'd gladly accompany you if your in the Philippines.
and when you meet with me you'd best have all your questions noted down.

besides, dont expect that everybody can and will answer the way you expect or want them to, geez man, that's why we're given freewill. what you're doing is one of the reasons why there is chaos amongst people.

If you really want answers you'd best have the time to find them coz they're very time consuming and sometimes costly.

It seems that you probably are better of consulting wikipedia or google. People seem to come to this forum, not to gain information, but to bicker like children. If they don't have the answer they will be insulting. The sad thing is, generally, it's the same thing over and over and over again. All I have learned in my time here is that people are generally ignorant and have no interest in expanding their mind.

besides ur probably asking way into depth questions.
i come on here cuz i need help with some things as do other people.

few people actually study this kinda thing.

and i really don't care much about the similarities of satanism and lucfierianism.

maybe others feel the same.....i don't know.

"Tell me everything there is to know about the belief of millions of people and the differences between them."

How can you possibly expect someone to type several books-worth of information into this site?

If you had clear and specific questions, that can be answered in a few hundred words, then people would answer them.

If you'd look around this site, you would see that answerable questions get answered here all the time.

If you want to learn everything there is to know about something, then go to a comprehensive web site and read what's there.

"Tell me everything there is to know about the history of Japan" is NOT a reasonable question. That's exactly what your questions are like.

If you would look around this site you would see that there are millions of people who care the help the help-able.

BTW, it simply isn't true that no one gave you answers except for links; several people tried to answer your too-broad questions in a few paragraphs.

Of COURSE they couldn't say everything there is to know on the topics, since it's impossible to say everything there is to know on any huge topic in a few words.

Yeah it can get pretty lame here at times and you wonder if it is worth the trouble to wait for a sensible question to answer, the lunatics are taking over the asylum.
