He will be 3 in february and for months now he crawls into our bed in the wee hours of the morning, between 1-3am usually I think. Most times I am so deeply asleep and so used to it, that I don't even wake up until I am so squashed in the middle I just can't sleep anymore. My back is always sore and I am now 5 weeks pregnant and have to get this problem sorted ASAP!!

What can I do to make sure he sleeps in his bed!!

I take care of him 3 days out of the month. Parents are not married and live far apart. As an aunt I take him to rests, parks, attractions, museums, eateries, and give him lots of love and attention when he is with me and my family. I also teach him morals, respect and all that. NOW, he lives with his mom. The last 4X my brother calls her place my neph, refuses to talk to me or just hangs up, whereas he always asked for me, and wanted to talk to me only. He is always by my side when we are together and always asks for me to go with him and no one else. When he throws a tantrum he tells me he hates, me never wants to see me again, will lock me up and throw away the key, and he says it with utmost anger and passion and has even hit me with brutal force, biting kicking so bad, like a barracuda. I have had to even run from him because he is powerful. I teach him and tell him not to do it, and give him time outs. PLEASE HELP ME. HE IS SO YOUNG AND GROWING COLD TOWARD hs, aunt who cares4 him

I just found out that my daughter has a yeast infection. She was taken to the dr. and she was given medication. I was just wondering if anybody out there had the same problem with their child and if they could give me any of their stories ie; how long it lasted if they thought it hurt their child? Anything would be appreciated.

I was at Wall-Mart the other day and I seen a lady coming in with a little girl she had to be at least 3 or 4. She was walking around with a pacifier in her mouth. I think that once the kids are able to talk very well that they shouldn't need a pacifier. What is everyone else's opinions on this?

My daughter has her birthday party coming up but when asked from her class list who she wanted to invite she only left off 2 little girls. I found this odd & asked her why? She replied that she did not want those girls to come because they speak different to her, I explained they are polish but still she got really stubborn & said "NO!" I tried to explain the differences in a positive way with the help of my mom but she is steadfast. She has not learned this at home. Is it just being 4? Or is she picking up stuff from other kids at nursery? I do not want my child to be a bully or want her to be in an enviroment where this is happening to anybody. I have threatened to cancel the party unless she invites these 2 little girls but she just throws a tantrum? Is my daughter horrible?

he wines and wines when he wants something. When he doesn't get it he shuts down and won't say anything. He acts like a spoiled baby. Today he did it in front of his friend and started baby talking. his friend said he was annoying.

My daughter does eat table foods a little bit. She can eat cheese puffs, chicken noodle soup, mashed up macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, little pieces of cracker...little pieces of butter bread or bread with peanut butter and jelly..... But the thing is, that we have to give her pretty small bites or she ends up gagging on it. Our meals can take up to an hour to finish. By the time we get done with one meal, it is practically time to start with the next meal. She also does not like the texture of meats. She just makes awful faces and gags. Even with small bites. I give her table food for one meal, and then 2 Stage 3 jars for dinner, because I don't know how much nutrition she can get from the limited amount of table foods that she can handle, plus it just takes so long to feed her that I find it easier to just give her baby food for one of her daily meals. Has anybody else encountered a problem like this?

He pulls the chairs out and climbs on them to get up to the table. I can't lock him out of the kitchen, because we have just one big open space that is sectioned off into kitchen/ dining/ living room. I've tried tipping the chairs on their sides, but all that does is make someone trip over them and it looks terrible. I am at my wits end. Do you have any suggestions?

I have a friend who's little girl cries everyday and doesn't want to go to pre-school (their 4 yrs old!) because the other little girls are so mean to her! She is a really lovely, caring, friendly, happy little child otherwise and is a surprising victim of such nastiness. Her mother is a work friend of mine and I see her coming to work each day so distressed and worried (to the point of tears sometimes). One day recently she even asked me for advice to which I did not know how to reply. I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions! Thank you.

My 7 year old son got into trouble for "looking" at the teacher. Evidently he got into trouble for some stupid thing and he gave her the LOOK not mean or anything he just looked at her and she gave him a bad "Popsicle stick not the popsicle just the stick that's what she does when there in trouble" then he did it again and got another one and she took him in the hall and told him "Stop looking at me now"

I'm watching my cousin's daughter, she is 2. I have been watching her for almost 3 months now, Mon-Thurs from 12-6pm. I also have a 3 & 9 year old of my own ,and watch my sister's daughters--3 & 8. The problem I am having with watching her is that almost every week so far there are a couple of days that they don't bring her and they don't call me untill after it is already time for them to drop her off. So basically my day is wasted because I end up waiting around for them to drop her off and they don't, I could be out doing things I need to get done. I don't want them to be mad but I just don't want to babysit for them any more. Also when they don't bring her, I don't get paid---being a stay at home mom, I need the money and I have another babysitting job lined up that pays more and is reliable--meaning I'll get paid no matter what. What should I do?

My 2 year old has many food allergies, and has recently developed and allergy to cats. Her allergist prescribed Zyrtec 1/4 teaspoon PRN. (as needed). My friends son had a very bad reaction to Zyrtec, as well as many other children in my playgroup. They started banging their heads on walls, biting children at school, and many other horrible side effects that stopped when they stopped taking Zyrtec. Has anybody heard of this? I was thinking of using Claritin for children, does anybody have any experience with this? I just want to do what is best for my child, like any other Mommy.

My 20 month old has a lot of teeth and has already chewed through five nuby cups. But I need a really good spill proof cup that she can't destroy to protect the carpet. Any other brands that are good and that have unchewable tops? Her molars are cutting through and I know she can't help it and the teething causes her to chew them.

My dd was just in for her 18 month well baby. She was below the 5 percentile. She was teething with a fever the week before and lost a pound or two that week. She weighed 20.2 lbs and is 31 in tall at her well baby checkup. 12 month check up she was 18.6 pounds 5% 28 in tall.....6 months she was 14.8 pounds 9% and 25 in tall. She only needs to gain a pound or two. I have been adding cream to her milk and giving her pp&j. She isn't a big eater. So I need to get the calories and fat in where I can. I am just wondering though how many calories does she need to gain weight and any suggestions on high calorie foods?

Can anyone give me some step by step advice on cutting a 2 yr old boys hair.
My usual hairdresser who will tolerate his screaming fits left the hairdressers and i have no idea where she is now. He's such a baby when he goes to the hairdressers that i'm thinking of having a go myself at home.
He HATES the clippers so a grade 2 all over is a no go.
Help!!

My 2 year has just been released after 4 days in hospital with pneumonia. We have to continue his course of antibiotics orally through a syringe and he freaks out each time. The medicine is yucky and gritty and each time we give him it he coughs so much he vomits it all up again. He is not eating well so I can't mix it in his food and the only thing he is feeding on is milk. Don't really want to mix it in that as it might put him off drinking the milk. The hospital don't seem to have any decent ideas for me so any ideas from the wise world of the YahooAnswers community would be greatly appreciated!
