My friends told me that when she takes off her diaper after going in it that she is ready to be potty trained. She also tells me when she goes poop. Do you think she's ready to be trained or should I wait a while? Also if anyone has any good tips for making this easier I would be grateful.

it seems to happen when he gets frustrated or is told off for something else,
He`s always biting his older brother if they`re arguing over a toy or something,it doesn`t break skin but it`s enough to hurt!!
He even bit himself this morning when he got in a temper because i stopped him undoing his seatbelt in the car!
I don`t know what to do i`ve tried naughty step, telling him off firmly and even smacking him on the hand, none ot these thing seem to bother him!
any ideas????

I am a working mother who have been pumping my milk during the day. My daughter is now 26 months old, although she does not ask to be nursed during the night, she keeps on asking during waking hour and before sleeping. Why I am asking, because my job requires me to do more now and my supply has been decreased to only 80 ml/day pumped milk. I do not want to wean her suddenly as I did to her 2 brothers, I want her to have a child-led weaning, although I do not have any info regarding this.
Please help, because most of the sites previous answerers to previous questions already gave do not have the info I need.

sounds cheesy but people keep asking me - and I think it might be worth a shot since shes got such a good disposition - any places that anyone knows of that are legitimate - no scams?? I'm cautious since obviously shes a baby and a girl - no way i'm leaving her alone with anyone - but I know there are some legit places out there.

Thanks!

I have a 2 yr old boy an he doesent talk yet, well nothing pastt mama baba. He throws servere tantrems sometimes I dont even know why he is so upset. he loves to run and seems completly absessed with cars but thats really all he plays with he shows little intrest in other toys. when he watches tv its like he gets sucked into it and cant take his gaze off. Most of the time when i speak to him he aks like he cant hear me and continues what he is doing and if i interupt him he starts screamng. I have never seen any other children his age throw tantrums as often and the way he does, he will throw hisself on the floor an sometimes he hurts hisself doing this. He had a really bad fibril sezure when he was one and has had 2 very small ones since. but i am really getting concerned because of his behavior and speech problems.

My son is 13 months old and has been walking for about 3 weeks. I have noticed that his right hip turns out slightly when he takes steps. I have looked for a guidline of what is normal and what is not and haven't been able to find anything useful. I don't want to take him to the Dr if all baby's do something like this when they learn to walk. Thanks for your help.

Do you do this? Allow your five year old to wear little girl makeup in regards to her dressing up in her 'play clothes'

My daughter asked me this last night, I said no way initially but upon thinking don't see any harm in her using it in her room as long as she washes it off before she leaves her room and certainly not outside.

Isn't it normal to do it as far as play and imagination goes? Plus it's makeup that is really not noticeable or gawdy looking.

I know when I was a girl, I'd go into my moms drawers and put it on in regards to play and I bet my mom wished she had little girl stuff for me b/c I probably ruined hers smearing it all over me lol!

My little girl is 21 months - just wondering what are the signs that we should start potty training? She doesn't seem aware that she's peeing and doesn't try and tell me at all yet. She does seem to stay dry after a daily nap. I usually change her nappy anyway and she usually wees almost straight away - often on the carpet. She only notices she's done it afterwards and says 'oh oh!'

What's the best way to start? She's a little young to reason with yet. What equipment works best? Should we work with a potty or go for the trainer seat for the toilet. She comes to the loo with me now and seems quite intersted in what's going on.

Any advice would be great thanks!

I have a 2 1/2 year old boy, and just found out recently I'm having another baby. My son loves other babies, so I know that he would make a wonderful brother, and will be very excited to have a new baby around. I am trying to figure out the best way to explain to him that mommy has another baby inside of her, without going over his head?

I bought a limbo stick for my daughter's 4th birthday party and just realized I don't know any good limbo songs! The only one that's in my head is the Elmo limbo song, but that's not available for download. I think the song just need a catchy beat, kid-appropriate lyrics, and something not too obscure because I have to download it.

My cousin was tring to potty train her son and it wasn't working. He would go #2 in his diaper and grab in there and fling it to other kids(gross), but one day she just had it and she made him eat some of it, and the poor child hated it (of course)and he never pooped his pants again. And his mother was so peoud she finally got him trained, but I told her it was disgusting and it was child abuse. She says its not and still defends it.

My three and half year old speech is very hard to understand. She's not enunciating her words clearly and she mix her words. I had her tested by the speech therapist when she was three and they said it was normal for her age not clearly pronounce her letters or words. Now that she is going on four years old I'm concern that he may have a hard time in school. When she spoke at the bithday party last weekend, no one understood her (other kids). Should she be tested again or let it go and she catch on- on her own as she get older.
