Has he had a change in his routine? Is something bothering him? Does he go to kinder, or is he out of your care during the day? Maybe he is having a hard time there. Talk to him, he might suprise you and tell you why he has been wetting the bed.
Good luck. Hope I gave you some suggestions to think about.

Usually when a child has been out of diapers for awhile and they start to wet the bed it indicated laziness. Or, your child needs to take a nap during the day so that when bedtime comes at night he wont be so apt to wet his bed. If he were my child, I would find pull-ups for him. Not to embarrass him, just to let him know that this kind of behavior is not acceptable. Sounds to me like he plays all day long and then goes to bed at night and is so tired he does not bother getting up to potty. Also, he may have a bladder infection. If you bathe him in bubble baths, that happens from time to time that the child will have a bladder infection. I wet my bed for years only to find out that I had a bladder infection. So....I hope I was helpful in this matter for you. Good Luck !!!!

Kids have growth spurts at this age, and a lot of the time their bladders dont jump on the train at the same time. So their bodies are bigger and as a result making more waste, but their bladders arent large enough to handle it.

So long as you can without question rule out abuse (physical, sexual and even emotional abuse towards children will always result in bed wetting and them soiling their pants.) you should just assume its a failure of the bladder to meet the standards of the body.

Get his body into the habit of waking up half way through the night. You do this by going in, pulling him quietly out of bed, walking him into the bathroom and having him go pee, and then walking him back into bed. You do this at the same time every single night for about 5 nights, or however long it takes. His body will get used to that pattern and eventually he will wake himself up and go pee on his own.

The neocortex of the brain is the part we use to think rationally. It runs short of protein sometimes in the night for kids. Feed a good protein snack before bed. No sweets...cereal (such a oatmeal, etc), fruit, etc.

My son did the same & i had to teach him about the pee dream. I told him that once he has the dream to wake up & i told him this everynight before bed so it was drilled in. He now wakes up. & if he/she keeps wetting the bed then show anger but not too much but dont be too light cuz they'll think it's okay. To pee or not to pee

He may have an underdeveloped bladder. Do you get him up a couple times a night to make sure he goes potty? Not just once, but a couple times.

IYou really should take him to a doctor. Could be a number of things. I have a small bladder according to my doctor and thus have to go all the time, no matter what amount of liquid I take in.
