My son recently turned 3. As far as going to the potty is concerned, he's mastered that art.
Therein lies my problem...
For the past few months, he has taken it upon himself to announce when he has to go to the potty, do his business, and get himself dressed back up. My wife or I usually accompanies him when he has to go #2 however, but for #1, he's more or less on his own.

Here recently on 2 occasions in the past week, he has taken off his pants and went to wizz on the floor. He made a puddle in the kitchen floor one day, his bedroom the next. We asked him why he did it. His reply was, "Because I wanted to."

We addressed the problem by showing him the mess he made, and explained to him that he needs to use the potty instead and made him sit in the corner for a few minutes.
He hasn't done it since and we hope he won't decide to do it again. But if he does, is this something that he is experimenting with, or is it something worse? Has anyone else had this problem??

My daughter gets sick alot but it is like the flu but she used to get sick like this every three months and then it went to like every two months and now like every other week. She throws up for at least 6 days straight and doesn't eat or anything else. Some times she gets diarreha (sorry spelled wrong) and it is like every couple of hours and she is only 2 1/2. Is this something serious? And she usually has a fever. Everytime I call the emergency room they say it could just be the flu but I also tell them that this happens alot.

He does what he wants when he wants for the most part. I don't want to beat him and he does understand what no means but his curiosity about something he's not suppose to touch or not supposed to do outweighs the need to obey.

He was a FABULOUS sleeper for 3 years, and now-- nothing. we've tried a later bedtime, shorter nap, no nap, earlier nap, later nap. The main issue seems to be getting him used to going back to his bed after he wakes up, but he's just SO resistent to the idea, and at 3am who wants to argue with a 3-year-old?

I'm 6 months pregnant and everytime I try to talk to my daughter about having a baby brother she kind of dodges the subject. I'm not sure she understands. I think she just thinks that I call my stomach a baby because she always lifts her shirt up and says she has a baby too. What is a good way to help her understand?

I have a 2 and a 1/2 year old son here are the symptoms :
Doesn't like hugs, kisses, or any kind of affection,
Won't play with his toys, he just lines them up and counts them over and over again, Calls things by there colour iinstead of there name, for no apparent reason stands and flaps his hands, doesn't like it when anyone comes into the house, doesn't like it when anyone looks at him, hates having his nappy changed, hates the thought of a potty, doesn't stop counting from waking to sleeping - he even wakes in the night counting sometimes, if i praise him he goes mad, starts crying and shouting no mummy!, he gets very violent towards people for nothing, he screws his face up when he talks to people and talks purposely in a deep growling voice.
