I am 21 and find myself stopping on PBS and watching the kid shows... who cares. Is your question why does she deny it..? In school kids are made to hate Barney.. so it would make sense if she is embarrassed. All I can say to the whole question is.. who cares. Who cares if she watches it, who cares if you watch it. Someones gotta watch it, or else Barney wouldn't get paid!

Barney is good for children aged 2 and under. Or those who are older and still act as if they are 2.

I'm 20 and help out at my mothers daycare and we don't have cable so I sometimes have to watch it. But I hate it!!!! plus a have a 1yo son so one day he will like Barney too.

Barney drove me CRAZY until i had kids, once i saw how much they liked it and the values he taught i don't mind it anymore
