He mostly just bites his 6 yr old brother and me. No one else seems to have a problem with him biting any more. I have tried everything I can think of and what advice I have found in the books. Super Nanny, if you are out there, HELP! It really hurts and he is leaving terrible bruises on us. I don't want to have to spank him though we have swatted him on the back of the hand and his butt, but it doesnt seem to do any good. Do they go through aggressive stages too? He doesn't seem to be angry. He just bites. Is he too little for time out?

I am traveling overseas with my 2 years daughter. Finally we decided to take BA, as we heard that they provide good service. I want to know is that will they give milk to my toddler? If not than how will I take milk for her for next 20 hours journey. I have requested a child menu through my travel agent, but he said that you can not request milk as most airline will provide it. I just want to make sure that they do provide milk for her.
IF you have traveled BA with your Toddler please give me the input on this.
Thank you.

My mother in law is a great woman and I get along with her very well. I only have one problem. She continues to purchase and make dresses and costumes for her without my input. She just came over with a homemade halloween costume this summer. My daughter is 2 and she bought her Christmas dress for this year when she was 3 mths old. They were very ugly and not my taste at all. These are things a mom wants to dress her baby up in.What should I tell her with hurting her feelings?

Well, he is almost 2. But should he be doing this? My brother does not want him to play with it cause it's way too girly but his wife insists its okay. Are they training him to be a sissy man?

hi everyone, dont take me as stupid but whats the best age to put a child in preschool. my daughter was three in october and i want to put her in a school. she really needs to be with other children and somewhere that can improve her speech. shes bilangual and speaks both languages but mixes them up alot. and i cant afford to put her in a daycare or anywhere expensive. i dont have an income right now, because im 5 months pregnant and having a hard time getting a job. her father isnt really helping much right now because hes trying to pay his bills (he planned on geting a second job soon though)anyway any suggestions would be appreciated. actually information on it all would be helpful because im lost in this situation. just to let u know, im in central arkansas. and i am apart of wic already.

I'm not worried about her screaming or anything like that, I want to know at what age I don't need to worry about it being so loud that it will damage her hearing to go to a movie at the movie theater, she is 15 months.

My son is 15 months old. He weighs over 30 lbs, I'll be getting a definite weight when he goes in for shots on January 3rd. I was looking as his current carseat today and it is only up to 40 lbs. I know I have some time, but I wanted to look into getting a new one. I've seen them for 30-80 lbs, and I believe he's big enough. He's over 24 in. tall as well. So, if anyone can give me consumer advice, it'd be great!! Thanks!

Well, I am a fairly new mom. My son is now 18 months old. I am also single and without family. I am alright with that.... it's actually taught me to be quite self sufficient and my son is a very happy and much loved boy. However, it's hard not having my own parents around to guide me.

So, I was just curious to know what other moms carry in thier cars? I am looking for good recommendations on snack foods (that aren't too messy), toys and interactive items, cleaning supplies for mess ups, etc. Really, anything that you "more experienced moms" out there could share with me, would be great!!

He does alright in the car, but sometimes does get fussy. I've given him several types of snacks, but spend too much time having to clean up the mess afterwards.

Lastly, does anyone have a good recommendation of a travel DVD player that hooks to the back of the passenger seat (in front of his carseat) that doesn' t cost too much?

Thanks to all for your answers!

I gave my husband an Ipod for his birthday and he lets his 8 year old son use it. His son has lost two expensive games of his own, has an Ipod of his own but not the latest. IT bothers me that he is allowed to grab it out of his dad's hands and play with it. For some reason it bothers me, even though in my mind I know a gift is a gift, with no strings attached. What mind exersice can I do to get over this?

My son will be 3 this January and is in pull-ups. He goes pee on the potty just fine, and in fact he prefers that instead of going on his pull-up. When he has to poop he goes and hides in the closet or under a table. I cannot seem to convince him to go poop on the potty for anything and it's driving me crazy. I don't think that spanking him will work so what other ways are there to get him to go on the potty and not in his pants?

So it's the shopping season and I need some advice as to which would be the best idea for my 3 year old little girl. Considering our living arrangements (living with my parents) at the moment and the amount of toys this girl already has, I wanted to do something more constructive for her as a gift and just get her a few little things and some stocking stuffers to open Christmas day. She is a very energetic girl and loves playing with drums, keyboards, etc. and also loves to dance and jump and be active. I was thinking of either getting her an instrument along with lessons but I don't know if this is age appropriate or trying out something like karate, ballet, or gymnastics but I want something that might transcend with her as she gets older but I don't know which one would be best to start her out with now. Any advice would be appreciated or personal experience with one's own children, etc so that I get her involved in something that she might like now and perhaps later on. Thx:)
